The English Reformation: A Very Brief History (Very Brief Histories)

I love the way he tells the story of the reformation six times from six angles - makes it v easy to follow. A great introduction to a complex topic.

I liked that the book focused specifically on how various religious movements during the age of reformation affected the Church of England. As an Episcopalian, much of this history was known to me except for the most recent, which is covered toward the end of the book. The end did feel too abrupt and almost like an editorial must based on some arbitrary limit to the number of words. However, I could only fault the author/publisher one star.
