Super easy to set up. Wireless. Great connection and no lag. Recommend highly.

This took all of 15 minutes to replace original Centurylink dsl modem. Works perfect and though reconditioned it appeared to be brand new. Came with ethernet and power adapter and QR start up LINKS AT Century link. This is an outstanding value and your Asurian protection covers your purchase. Centurylink could not send me a new modem for another month and they wanted nearly $20 per month to lease or $200 to purchase but only had a 1yr warranty. BALONEY!! Amazon is the winner on this one by miles and miles!!! Phooey Centurylink!

The third one I bought worked.... for 6 months, then died.

Delivered on time, great price and they look new. Now for the important things you need to know.1. If you don't have Firefox you have to get it. Why? First day I was on the phone for 2 hours with Brightspeed and they told me to click the link in my text, mind you this is after they couldn't get it connected. Clicked link nothing would work. So this morning I hit Firefox browser and all I had to do was click next next next and I was up and going!! Oh you will need either phone number associated with your landline or account number. Make sure you have it you'll need it.2. This is a fast router. I use rokuand it would spin and spin before it would bring up the show and a lot of spining when watching show. Now I'm in within seconds no lags.3. It's big and sturdy round on the bottom better stability, which is great if you have kids or a pup that might run into wherever you put it. No toppling over and there's one light on front that you see not a bunch of blinking lights.4. It comes with all the wires and plug in which is very important because this plug was bigger than my old router plug. So make sure when searching plug is included, don't just assume because during my search I found some that just had the modem only.I would highly recommend this modem and the seller.

Modem arrived without any instructions and without the green telephone cord. Instead had computer connection cord. Thankfully I had setup instructions and green cord from old damaged modem. With instructions and correct cord installation went smoothly. Appears to be working properly.

When I purchased CenturyLink's internet service they wanted to charge me 180.00 a year to rent this exact Modem. So it was a no brainer. Why not just buy one and own it for less than the first years rental would be? Ordered it and had it the next day. Setup was easy using the link on the CenturyLink web page. No issues and it looks like new. The 4 stars is for the pricing. Mine was listed with a 20.00 off coupon but I didn't notice until several weeks later that I was charged full price. Still cheaper than the rental deal but I would have liked to have had the coupon honored.... It is currently listed at 35.00 off which makes me even sadder. I guess what I am saying is that it is a great lookin and working modem and I would highly recommend it to renting. However, be sure to go back and check what you actually were charged. Still a good deal.
