In the vehicles that I need to be very reliable I use the expensive Walmart Fram Filters. In my around town vehicles I use the cheap fram filters. I have had no problem with any of them. You will enjoy the Royal Purple. Just make sure it shows up on the oil dip stick. My Ford F150 used 9 quarts the 1st time. Not the typical 6 quarts. Now it uses a little over 7 quarts. **Q: What is the shelf life of this oil** A: This oil is synthetic. It will not break down or become contaminated like traditional oils may.
