Very strong screens not like the cheaper made in China ones.Buy these Nade In America screens and you won't be disappointed.

I have a alexapure pro water filters and I added the glass water level spigot(which was listed for the Berkey water filter). In the top of the spigot, it has about a 1/8 inch hole, which is needed for equalization, but that is big enough for small ants, dust etc. These are a perfect fit, screw the top off, install one on top of the washer and bingo, you still have the air needed and now it will keep out any bugs, dust etc. And with them being stainless, should last a long time.I figure these would be great for coffee or tea level spouts also, which you usually only see in restaurants.

As stated, extra fine pipe screen filters...and work great as such. My catch-22 about this product: it is extra fine...so, it clogs up more quickly than more coarse filters (obviously), but, for the price...quicker replacement isn't that big of a deal.

No doubt these are top quality screens. Unfortunately I probably should have gone for the 3/4" though, because these won't stay in either of my glass pipes. To be fair the pipes are squeaky clean, so once there's a little grit in the bowl they will probably stay. Technically usable, but will definitely need to be put back in every time I ash out the pipe. Haven't bought screens in a looooong time because my pipes usually had smaller holes, but new pipes have big holes that allow pull through. As others have said here, if you're on the fence, go for the bigger screen!

I did a search for screens that would fit in my solo I and II mouthpieces, And this came up as something Amazon recommended. However, when I got them I found they were too big to fit inside. So… They're sitting in a drawer and I have ordered another set that are 3/8 of an inch which I think will fit properly.

I love these, they are the most durable screens I've ever used in my non-tobacco pipe. These screens don't have the common problem of breaking or holes forming under repeated heating and cooling like some of the cheaper ones you might find at a gas station. Also these are the perfect size, no more stuffing an oversized screen into my pipe. I know it's ridiculous but this is something I use every day, and I've used enough over the years to know that at this point these will probably be the only kind of screens I purchase for the rest of my life.

I bought these for my husband. He said: I bought screens in the stores and they were cheap and flimsy and they would tear and have a hole in them, so I was constantly replacing them. Since my wife bought these for me, not one of these have torn. I find I am only replacing them once in a while. I am a happy customer and would highly recommend them to others.

Can't believe someone is making pipe screens in the US. You really don't want to take chances with poor quality and possible contaminants in imported steel which will be heated to several hundred degrees or more and you're taking that into your lungs. The wire mesh is made of heavy gauge steel and are durable.
