Good heavy duty fish frying necessity
These are measured at the TOP of the basket. The bottom will be smaller in diameter. This basket will fit in an 8” cast iron pot. That’s what I use mine in to fry fish. Good heavy duty

BEWARE ! This product contains compounds that may cause cancer, most probably CADMIUM.
I opened the shipping box and read the label I got out from inside the basket. Are we to fry our potatoes with a dose of cadmium?! I returned and buy a real stainless steel one at Ebay.

what's frying?
great product for what i was looking for. the 17" length was what i need. i was making fryers for friends at work. i have already bought 8 so far, more to come.
