We love this little noise machine, it was gifted to one of my children by a relative but I have since bought the exact same for my eldest son. It's compact in size bit has a good sound, I personally don't think it's tinny considering the size. The performance is good even though it is small, clear sound and volume adjustments. Easy to use with easy to see functions on it. We use it plugged in at the wall and the cord length is a decent length from plug to bedside table top. Plug included. Variety of sounds on it that I feel would suit most people, we like the piano, rain and birds personally. Age wise I'd say it suits use for baby to elderly as the variety is great and all adjustable sound level. My sons fall asleep easily and sleep through it without being disturbed so definitely aids sleep. There is a timer function for it to turn itself off while you sleep. Overall, very happy with the purchase and it was approximately £18.99 at the time of purchase so great value for money. Would and have recommended, would buy more when needed.

Ive used this for 3 years in my sons bedroom and I am now ordering another. This machine can go quite loud which can be a bonus, it has a huge variation of sounds. We live on a main road with very noisy neighbours and people who leave very early for work and since getting this sound machine my son hasn't been disturbed by them once. We've even taken this on holiday to cover the sounds of very noisy seagulls and it worked a charm

Second one ive ordered now, had one for my baby but found its great for my anxious dogs too. Great quality sound and selection of noises/music/sounds. Plugs in so no battery or recharge to worry about, timer functions work well. Baby love it falls asleep every night to it and stays asleep. Brilliant.

I really like this white noise machine. I bought it as I really struggle to sleep without the fan on but in the winter it's far from ideal and my husband has all but banned me from keeping it on unless it's hot outside! This machine is compact, can fit in the palm of your hand and looks neat on the bedside table. The audio quality is good, and has the ability to turn up and down to preferred volume and a timer to gradually turn off the sound until it's off. It has 40 different sounds, some of which I can see myself using more than others, like household fan, rain and gentle music (and memory so it turns back on to the same sound). My only criticism is that it should really have quiet buttons as I'm sure most buyers are using it in a sleep setting and the noisy clickity clackity buttons wake my husband up if I'm trying to turn the sound down, or switch to a different noise, so a little bit disappointing but I'm hoping we will get used to it over time.

Absolutely Rubbish I bought this less than a year ago, and it suddenly stopped working. Honestly, I’m almost glad it broke because the sound quality was very annoying. The buttons don’t work properly, if you want to skip forward, you have to go through all the tracks, as there’s no way to go backwards. The wire is another hassle. You have to carry it around, plug it in everywhere you go, and always make sure there’s a power outlet nearby, it’s very inconvenient and not practical at all. Now that it’s stopped working, I don’t feel bad about replacing it with something better. Still, I wasted my money, and it’s not a cheap product.

Had this little machine now for about 6 months, and have to say it is really good, there are loads of different sounds it has stored to play and they aren't obvious that they are a on a loop, we like the rainforrest loop, so does the baby so that's the main thing for us. There are so many choices I'm almost positive there would be one that you and child liked. The device is nice and compact it can easily fit on shelfs floors etc. although the cable is pretty short around the 1.5m long so you will need a socket near by. The cable is a jack style into the machine so unless you have an adapter or a longer cable then you'll need to keep it near a plug. Having said that the volume does go almost unnecessarily loud, as in no one would be able to sleep with as loud as it goes, so cable length isnt really a problem. having said that the controls allow for a lot of adjustment so finding the sweet spot is easy. The buttons and build do feel nice and premium with a child friendly feel too. overall a great purchase has helped my daughter fall asleep every time, both me and my wife are very happy with this purchase and at such a reasonable price too we are happy with it and would definetley buy it again and would recommend to anyone trying to get their baby to sleep

This machine has been a game changer. It's a fabulous little machine with a wide range of sounds to choose from though I've only tried a couple of them so far. I've never heard this switch off since I'm always asleep before it does so. It can be set quite loud, which I like, but can be very quiet too. I plan to use the thunder setting for desensitization training for my dog and think it will work well for that. I don't find the sound to be tinny as some reviewers have noted. Nor am I disturbed by the light on it which is very small. It's very easy to use and doesn't get warm during use. It also turns itself completely off (not on standby) at the end of the timer which I really like.

Before purchasing this item, I was having to leave the fan on all night so that I could have white noise to fall asleep too and it meant I was waking up cold and the fan eventually was breaking. This machine is amazing, the volume has such a large range that I see it being perfect for everyone, and the timer is perfect for saving electricity bills as the 1-3 hour function is exactly what I need, not that I need to put it any higher than 1 hour. All the noises are perfectly clear and the variety is amazing.

Si vous aussi vous entendez ce que regardent les voisins, ou n'aimez pas être réveillé à 5h par leur pas lourd sur le sol, un ptit coup de bruit blancs (il y en a plusieurs dans la boîte) et hop on oublie leur existence. Il a d'autres bruits relaxants, mais je ne m'en sers pas personnellement.
