Can they be used on top of artificial turf?

We used them strictly at the driving range.

What is the diameter of the tees?

Bottom: 6cm in diameter, Upper part: 1.5cm in diameter

How do these work? The description is really confusing. What stops them from flying down the range?! How do they attach to the mat?!

They aren’t for use on a mat. You can connect the two pieces together for use with a driver or use just one if teeing off with an iron. And they do fly away sometimes.
