Seventh Generation, Laundry Detergent Ultra Power Plus Clean Scent, 23.1 Fl Oz

I’m very picky about laundry detergent and have used it all. I recently switched to this from the pods in the big name tub. I want my detergent to work really hard on stains and odors, but leave the fabrics feeling soft. This one leaves laundry feeling like it is deeply clean, even tackles teen laundry and pet odors, and rinses really clean so your clothes feel very soft like new. The bottle is easy to use and I appreciate how much is in it for the price! I can’t believe how fresh, soft and clean my sheets feel after using this. Even better that it has a good ingredients list. A+ !!!

This literally just arrived and I wanted to test it out. The cap did work well for me, the right (controlled) amount poured, not too much. It was also clean and not dripping. The ingredients are much better and skin friendly. The cost is a little higher than other options.

I bought a bottle of this and a few other clean eco friendly detergents to try back in Feb 13 2021. My fiance and I have only been using this since because I wanted to test each one out on its own until we’ve used them all. When we do laundry we usually do large loads and since we have an older washing machine it’s not energy efficient so we do two “doses” which would be two squirts I guess with its easy dose cap. Even though it doesn’t seem like it wouldn’t be enough it works great and we’ve both been really happy with this detergent. We each do a large load of clothes maybe every other week and clean towels and bedding just about as much so I thought we would have blown though such a tiny bottle by now. This is our first experience in a concentrated detergent so we were used to the big things of detergent and having to use a lot of it to get our laundry clean but this stuff has been doing great. We live in a pretty small apartment with not a lot of storage space so replacing a giant container of detergent for something more compact has been really nice. It also is a lot less of a hassle to dispense and we feel good about the ingredients in this too. We’ve been trying to be more conscious about the ingredients in the products we use and this was an easy transition from what we used before. I think now if we had to use regular detergent it would just feel wrong lol. Even though we thought we’d go though a whole bottle by now we still have a quarter left which exceeded our expectations. The one thing we noticed that was odd and weren’t used to was the fact our clothes had NO scent at all but they were clean. Usually we had some kind of scent on our laundry that gave it that “clean” smell and I’m sure it was clean but it was unnecessary and full of chemicals. I haven’t noticed any weird buildups or damage to our laundry from this product so I really appreciate that too lol. Overall I would really recommend this product theres so many positives with it and I don’t think I would ever want to go back to “traditional” detergent again. I also think is worth the cost, much easier to use, less messy, and takes up less space, and because it’s more concentrated you don’t need to use as much and it cuts cost on transportation. I think more products should be like this. Traditional detergents are watered down so it makes it heavier which in turn costs more money to transport it and it requires more plastic waste too. It’s just overall a great product in our opinion

I love all Seventh Generation products but I was not crazy about this one. The easy dose drove me crazy. Lol. I know it's intended to not use too much but my clothes didn't seem clean. Probably user error or the machine not dispensing all the product but for that I'll pass. The scent and quality seems good as always.

I was surfing thousands of detergents; and finally got the destination. No artificial smells, no toxic. Just cleaning. Perfect. I have really sensitive skins but didn't have any trouble while using this.

Best detergent I have ever used, I can’t believe one squirt does a large load - ONE! It has a nice clean lightly herbal scent. I am only usimg tide for rubbing out spots now - happy to have a less “blue” detergent that works!! Very pleased for myself and my hard working guys.

I’ve been using it for months now and I like it. I pair it with the free and clear OxiClean powder and my kids clothes get pretty clean. I do spray oxy clean on it if it has stains which helps get them out. This product alone I don’t think is gonna get out stains by itself.

I did not like the clean scent smell, it was a weird musty smell and not a clean and fresh smell for me at all. I also did not like the squeeze cap, the first time I used it I guess I squeezed to hard or didn’t realize it was supposed to be done and almost lost half the bottle in my detergent drawer. Even as I got used to it I felt like it was too much detergent. It cleaned my clothes ok, but I don’t think I will be buying again.

Absolutely! Living in the UAE Dubai proves to be very hard when you can’t get tide pods clear and free! I decided to try these and found them to be just as good! Glad to have found them!

My first purchase of seventh generation and a clean detergent. Leaves my clothing smelling fresh and clean. Never felt so chemical free on the clothing I wear and my family.

I've tried many sensitive skin, fragrance free washing detergents and this is the one I keep coming back to. Seems to wash my clothing well, no issues with skin and totally fragrance free. I had to get over the thought that I needed to use a larger amount of detergent per load. One squirt is all that is needed with this detergent. It also has not taken the colour out of my towels when I squirted it into the water directluy onto my clothing and towels. I am really bad about not following the directions about filling your washer with water and detergent BEFORE adding my clothing as I am always in such a rush. So many of the other liquid detergents have left discolourations on my towels but not this one.

Personally just not for me, I ended up chucking them.
