Great for DMs or Players!
Use them for making non biased desicions as a DM in D&D. For example a player might ask "Is there any type of flame nearby that I could grab and potentially use as a weapon against these undead?" Roll dice get a +: "Actually yes there is, about 10 feet off of you there is a torch sitting loosely in an holder. Its not lit but can be easily grabbed and ignited. You figure it can make for a sturdy enough weapon for at least a couple of hits." Roll dice get a -: "As you frantically look around the room to find anything viable to use as a flame based weapon, sadly your efforts seem to be for nuaght. You do see a unlit torch in a holder but it seems to be held in by a bracket system that doesn't look like it would give up it's grip easily." Get blank roll, typically DMs choice or roll again. Alternatively I use them as a player to make decisions I might not feel strongly one way or another on. Do you decided to trust this random stranger who ask for help..? Roll dice... Drink the interesting looking potion? Roll dice... Whos side do you take in the group dispute? Roll dice... Once again I only do this when I don't feel strongly one way or another, but it works great to flesh out a charecter by using random decisions that help build thier personality. My main issue with the dice is the price, feel they could fair to be a bit cheaper. Especially seeing as I can buy a bag of 16 full sets of DnD dies for about 20 bucks. Otherwise a great tool for both DMs or Players.

Dice are fine, but need cleaning
The dice are fine as expected, but they are clearly a former return as the package was taped back together. I don't mind this, except the adhesive from the tape is on the dice, so I rather than play with them right away, I have to figure out how to clean them first.

Fate is unusual because the dice you need to roll ...
Fate is unusual because the dice you need to roll are different rom the usual 6-sided dice numbered from 1 to 6. Fate Dice (which are the same as "Fudge Dice") have two sets of three icons: "+" (plus), "-" (minus), and " " (blank). You roll four dice and add them up with "+" counting as +1, "-" as -1, and " " as 0 (zero). These Fate Dice are well made. You get three sets of four dice, each set colored somewhat differently. There are several color schemes to choose from. An indispensable part of your Fate gameplay.

Classy colors
I have several sets of Fate dice and this is my favorite color. Some of the others have some, shall we say, "bold" color combination choices, but this is simple and classy. Like the name implies these go well in historical settings (Victorian steampunk, anyone?) but won't be out of place in just about every other genre. If these are appealing, also check out the Eldritch set which is similar but in shades of green and glows in the dark.

Nice dice
Solid dice. I don't roll great but I know that's because of my luck, not the dice. I roll terribly this is my life. The dice have tried their best. A+ for effort.

Great dice!
When buying these, I was expecting the two darker colors to be nearly indistinguishable, but much to my surprise when seeing them in person, they are quite different. One set is an earthy brown with white markings, while the other is almost a burnished bronze color with slightly yellowed markings-- looks very antique as their name suggests.

I really like the design of these dice
I really like the design of these dice, although I think they are a bit expensive for what they are (though that describes most fate dice). I really do like them, they feel nice, no actual complaints
