Buzz-2-Stitches Software - Automatically Turn Graphics Into Embroidery Designs

This software requires both a USB port and cd/dvd drive. It is very easy to convert simple images, and the software converts to a wide variety of embroidery types. More complex images convert, but often need some editing, which requires purchase of "buzz to edit" (which Santa is giving me) and is the reason I'm rating this at 4 stars. The price of both buzz 2 stitches and buzz edit together is still quite a bit cheaper than other conversion software. Friends and family have really loved the custom embroidery made using this software.

I tried to use the 'free' programs out there and as a novice, I wasted hours trying to figure them out. I purchased three of the Buzz products and love them all. After taking several months to decide ( due to price), I am very glad I purchased them. They were easy to use instantly.

Buzz to Stitches is the most disappointing software I have ever had. Especially for the price it does not do as advertised. I believe they should have a printed guide for this software, as unlike their claims, it is NOT a point, make a few decisions, click, and stitch. There is MUCH more tweaking to be done, and not enough tools to do it.It needs to also be advertised that a special kind of art work is needed which in most cases will need to be purchased. I can't just use my art program, draw a picture and use it, the Buzz to Stitches program does not pick up enough details or I'm doing something wrong. (example: I drew a simple smiley face and tried to digitize it in the Buzz to Stitches and it was horrible) Maybe I have the wrong art program (it suggests I make yet another purchase of Coral Draw)The art work purchased does work ok, however if I have to purchase artwork to make the program work correctly I might as well just purchase the professional digitized stitches.Would I buy the program again? NEVER.Would I recommend the program? NEVER.Would I purchase the Buzz Edit? I would be afraid to, there is not enough support from you and hard to contact for support.The program seems to be incomplete without purchasing many more (possibly incomplete) programs to go with it, which makes it a BAD VALUE.What I really wish would be to get my money back and start over with something else.

Not as easy as stated

I have all the other Buzz Tools products and this one is as easy to use as the others.

We couldn't make this work on 2 different Windows 7 - 64 machines and had to do a "System Restore" to make MS programs run again. Buzz 2 Stitches was returned for a refund so we'll never know about the features.

I have purchased 2 other programs that promised to do what Buzz 2Stitches does. Finally a program that works and works well. Easy to use. Love it!

THis is a great system Buy only what you need. Add on as your embroidery needs grow.
