SmartLife 18/8 Stainless Steel Reusable Cone Coffee Filter with Cup Stand and Measuring Spoon

This filter is wonderful - really pleased with it!The filter has really tiny micro-perforations, and seems to be double-thick even, so it's really a nice filter. In any case, it was great not to have to use a filter paper with this cone (after 30 years of using a plastic Melitta cone!). Will have to get used to washing it out (easier if you don't let the grounds dry out inside. I like that I can see through the base so I can tell how full the cup is getting. My only wish is that the handle were a little bit more user-friendly. Probably just something to get used to using. The scoop is heavy and well-made, too. Really a great price for such well-made products!!

This thing is an engineering marvel--I don't really understand how it works, but it does. Residue in pot from either medium or fine grind is negligible--you won't notice it until the last fraction of a tsp. Just a couple of cautions: 1) this is a little larger than a #2 filter/cone, so if you're making larger quantity of coffee, you'll have to make a number of pours of hot water. 2) if you're used to a paper cone filter, this one obviously does involve a little more complicated cleanup. You can't just upend the cone and shake out the grounds. I use a plastic knife to scrape out most of the grounds and then rinse under faucet to remove the remainder.

Its craftsmanship is great. Well made. No metal taste. Cleans well right after use. If left for long time without cleaning, it might stain it. Measuring spoon is great also. The stainless still net might be fragile to any impact. If there was metal skeleton around the cone, it might feel better. Great item and strongly recommend for coffee drippers.

This filter is very easy to use and never gets clogged I have been using it everyday for over a year and it works like the first time I used it. Just rinse it with hot water after you make a cup. Comments that say it stops working or gets clogged are not true unless you are a complete moron and neglect to take care of it i.e. simply rinse with hot water each time you make a cup...

The laser holes are cut amazingly fine and so precise. This item is definitely 5 star quality. Brews great tasting coffee without the risks associated with the coffee makers that use plastic. I have now retired my Mr. Coffee. Also comes with a long handle stainless steel measuring spoon. They could have included an inexpensive plastic measuring spoon but instead included a high quality SS spoon. Just another sign of the quality throughout this item. Love it!

I love me a nice hand crafted, single source pour-over. Now I can enjoy making them myself (and I do enjoy it). This filter does well over just about any mug, though you won't be able to see how full it is. The included scoop is satisfyingly sturdy and weighty. A great purchase for the coffee enthusiast.... or addict.

Not perfect that it gets clogged up. I just have to use a paper filter.

Have had to scrub this filter constantly, gets clogged terribly. After a few months, going back on here to order one like my mom got, she's had hers much longer and hers never clogs
