These things will save your peace !
Easy to use just take out of package in place in area you want monitored . I’ve had these for years . They have prevented many “ problems “ saved money , work and the dread you feel when you find out you have a problem . Most recently . I had my sewer back up in my basement - because of these the problem was discovered and contained - fast preventing a big mess and a big expense !

These are lifesavers!
These are small enough that no one sees them, but they have saved me from water damage TWICE. I have them behind the washer and all toilet as well as under all sinks. The washer overflowed and a sink leaked and both times these alarms sounded and saved me from water damage. Highly recommend!

THE FUZZ BUSS IS THE ONLY WATER DETECTOR I WILL USE.
I put one under the kitchen sink, by the dishwasher's water inlet (they are the #1 place where dishwashers leak), underneath the fridge (only need if you have an icemaker and or cold water dispenser). I put them in the bathroom by the bath tub, by the toilet, and underneath the sink(s), anywhere water can leakThere several that are similar but none as cost effective: one type works only once & can't be manually tested, others that have other limitations. The sensor prongs of the Fuzz Buzz are just above the floor level; you can test one whenever, just lick the sensor prongs and you will hear how load it notifies you and therefore how much longer the battery life is. It is a good way to let other family members know that when they hear that sound look for a leak. The batteries are built in and they Fuzz Buzz needs replacing every 2 or 3 years. There is a replace date on each nit, but they usually last 6 to 12 months longer.I BUY THEM FOR A COUPLE CONDOS WHICH WE RENT AND EXPLAIN TO THE TENENT WHAY THEY ARE FORE.

Worked when my sink was leaking! Wish it was a little louder
Overall good product! I have a temporary system set up, my sump pump has to empty into my utility tub with some not so great pipes. The utility tub itself has an extremely slow leak as well. One day when the sump pump was emptying into the tub every 2 minutes, a few drops were splashing out. The drops built up to a small puddle and this little alarm started going off! It did exactly what it was supposed to. I then took it out of the water, dried the bottom, switched it with one in an area where I had them doubled up in case the battery was more weak, cleaned up the small puddle and went about my day. This little device worked perfectly. The reason for 4 stars is because it was too quiet. I’m not totally familiar with how loud something needs to be to hear it throughout your house but I don’t think someone would hear this in a 2 story house coming from the basement. I wake up EASILY and I don’t think I would have heard it on second floor. For my sump pump I have a more serious alarm but these little guys work and work great for smaller areas

Easy to use
I've purchased these before and found them easy, just place on the floor near a source of water. They can really help avoid big problems. My negative is that the instructions state they are good for 3 years, however all 6 of the items I purchased were stamped "replace by 02/24." So I am only getting 2 years of use, not 3.

Leak Insurance
So far so good! I bought these to replace old Flood Buzzers. So far, we have not had a leak that really tests them out (so I can't really give them 5 stars) but when I tested them in water they do set off an alarm. I'm confident they will work if a leak happens. We have them in back of our washing machine, on the floor of cabinets with sinks and near our water heater. Actually, the old ones we are replacing, when tested, also set of an alarm but after years on the job it's difficult to know how long that alarm would sound (I think not as long as new ones).

Not loud at all
I am very disappointed with the sound level of these alarms. I tested them prior to placement and they are not loud - definitely not 95 dB. Given these are being placed inside vanity cabinets, I would have to be in the room or right at the door to hear these.I will keep them; some protection is better than none, but I expect to replace them with smart sensors in the not-too-distant future.

These Really Work. We use them at our home, families homes and rentals.
It is a terrible thing to have leaking water under your sinks. The beep is not thundering, but you will notice. The beeps have saved us three times and our family six times in the five years. I print a small label for our tenants and attach it, " Do not remove this." We explain why it is there and tell them what to do if it peeps. P.S. We also use these for the washing machine, even with the tray under it.

Make sure you remove from the floor when you wash it!!
I know now that it works really well. I washed the floor and slopped a little water close to the pod. It makes a progressively louder noise. Very well done. It stopped squealing as soon as I removed it from the water. I have them under all sinks, toilet, close to dishwasher and washing machine.

Sound is a high pitch squeal. Harder to hear if slightly hearing impaired .
Probably like many buyers I purchased these after a water event. Our laundry room sink overflowed after the water was left on for about 20-30 minutes. Water flowed into a hallway which had a manufactured hardwood floor. We were able to clean if up quickly and after a week drying by the restoration company the floor was not damaged. We got lucky. Made me wonder why laundry rooms do not have floor drains.Anyway, a few days after placing the buzz detector my wife heard a high pitch squeal. We traced it back to the laundry room. The drain was leaking into the cupboard. We would never have picked it up without the warning.A good idea. Everyone should have something like this. I now have them in every bathroom as well as the laundry room and kitchen.

Very easy to use
I tested the 6 units individually by standing each in a minimal layer of water on a flat bathroom sink, and all worked very well! These are very easy to use as it's a place and forget application. I did set a calendar reminder to re-check them every few months. The only negative here is that the product must have been in storage for about a year before it was shipped as the 'replace' date stamped on each unit is for just 25 months from receive date, whereas the product is rated to be good for 36 months.Nevertheless, I have peace of mind having placed these redundantly by dishwasher, fridge, and washing machine.

Look ok
I had others that had a sponge that were single use, these don't so you can re use them, could be a little louder

Not very Loud
The product itself is not that loud as other I bought. If you put that in the basement you hardly can hear it. This product is only last about 3 year since can not change the battery which is kind of suck. Another issue were since there is not on and off switch for this device, which mean this device is always on, which mean if the product were left 2year still in the warehouse I wonder the battery can still last 3 year when I purchase? I had another problem with the delivery guy which just left the package at outside the door and actually sign by himself and not by anyone that were in the house .
