Shade Face stick SPF 50+ Tinted Formula

The issue is with the seller not the product. The first order arrived with an empty box. I sent it back for a replacement. The replacement was past the expiration date. I am not going to bother sending this back. I haven't used the facestick, but I imagine it is a pretty good product as long as the box is not empty or it's past the expiration date.

Purchased many times prior and it has always been a usable shade for skin... both tubes this time were so dark and orange not possible to useI tried to call shade directly to inquire about the lot to no avail. Too bad, I really want to be able to support a local CA company.

Greasy, tint was thin and oily.

I bought this product because I spend hours outside each day in the Los Angeles sun. I wanted to use a Zinc sunscreen (because its better than all of those chemical sunscreens) and since zinc turns my already pale face super white I thought the tinted zinc sunscreen would be perfect. I would NOT recommend this to a friend. It got two stars instead of one because it did prevent me from getting sunburn. This sunscreen would be great for occasional use during outdoor athletic events. It seems to be sweat and water proof (because of all the wax in it) however this made it WAYY too heavy for everyday use.Pros:It works. I did not get sunburn and I sunburn extremely easily.The tint was nice. I am super pale and this is pretty dark but I rubbed it in and it did not create streaks and it was not obvious.ConsThis many only work for women because it made me look like I was wearing makeupIt stayed on top of my skin which was SO annoying. HOURS after I put it on if I itched my nose my hands would be covered in tinted sunscreen.I could feel it on my skin. It was heavy.This sunscreen clogged all of my pores and gave me terrible acne after about 4 days of use EVEN with washing my face at the end of the day.If you have a marathon to run buy this....everyone else, keep looking.

This is an order replacement... 2nd try and both have been expired.

Convenient and easy to carry around.

It's a great idea. Don't like the smell. Wish it worked.

I bought this sunblock for surfing but used it for tennis this morning. I got completely fried and my eyes are still burning. I didn't get to use it for surfing so maybe it works better in the water? Seems unlikely. I tried to contact the company and their phone numbers have been disconnected and also sent an email. I have tried many sunblock sticks for surfing including Waterman's (great but can't seem to find), Raw Elements (decent but not great), Vertra, Headhunters and Shiseido (no expiration date on packaging so don't like to buy) and they all work better than Shade.
