I used this Naturtint permanent hair dye and had a very good experience. It lightened well and did not cause itching or irritation, which is important to me because I have a sensitive scalp. The application is easy, there is no strong smell, and the color turned out even, natural, and shiny. After rinsing, my hair felt soft and not dry. Good gray coverage. A good option if you’re looking for a gentler permanent hair dye compared to traditional ones.

I'm no stranger to at home hair coloring, but I've never used a natural one, so I was unsure what to expect. As I mixed the bottles, the bottle became really warm, (not to show my age, was something that happened in the 90's so I wasn't super concerned). I put it on my hair and scalp, and left it on for the extra time the instructions recommended, since I do have stubborn grays. As I started to rinse, I noticed my hair became very stiff, and as I scrunched my hair to try and get the coloring worked out, my hair was completely almost like gummed up, and stayed in whatever shape I squeezed it. After approximately 40 minutes of rinsing, I put shampoo in, and not much happened. I continued to rinse, when I started having full clumps of hair come out in my hands, enough to where it was enough to clog my shower drain. I didn't know what else to do! I have long thick curly hair, and at this point i had been working on my hair for 2 hours, and now I was now running late for work. I reached for the white vinegar to pull the stuff out of my hair, which I know now was all the protein from my hair (thank you to my hair stylist friend for letting me know) and pulled some conditioner I had from another coloring box to finish off. I now have huge bald patches and my hair is all broken off. Every time I wash my hair, I'm still getting clumps of hair. I've never experienced ANYTHING like this before. I don't recommend this. Save your money. Save your hair. Save your time.

The mixture applied easily, the smell was acceptable. But the color is not what I expected. It's too golden for me. I used 2 pieces for long hair.
