Excellent rack for lightweight medium weight not heavy weight even on carbon seatstays. If you want something for heavyweight you need to go with old man mountain racks. That said I actually for my moderate weight stuff I carry up to about 8 lbs, I actually removed an old man mountain since it makes it difficult to change a flat on the rear tire. They only gotta with this rack is make sure to loctite and tighten down really well the tubular brace mount that goes close to your seat stay. Also reinforce your seat stay just in case with some gorilla tape or with the piece of metal under the gorilla tape. That was the only problem I've had is it slipping and then hitting the seat stay. I would definitely buy this again versus anything else out there in this price range. And stay way the heck away from the Thule Tour Rack. It is absolutely a royal pain to install because of its inferior design and way too many small parts to put together.

The Aeroe spider rack is very functional , extremely versatile and almost ingenious . One of the few that will work on full suspension EMTB's . You can mount it a number of ways to suit your needs and style . The fully integrated side packs by Aeroe are a wonder to behold as well . I believe that this system is the best on the market for your top end , full suspension MTB or EMTB. The system fits my Turbo Levo Comp 29er like a glove and was very easy to install . I can't speak for the more extreme situations you might encounter as my riding tends to be more rehabilitative in nature as opposed to competitive or extreme but I haven't had any issues with suspension travel restrictions or impediments. The beauty of the style in this rack is it's simplicity and outstanding design , forward thinking engineering , and top quality materials. The Kiwis really knocked it out of the park with this one and I have to say I have a whole new level of respect for New Zealand now that I know they're manufacturing this level of quality and ingenuity in there products , take note enthusiasts I think Aeroe is here to stay. I got this rack for bikepacking. I am really short and could not use a saddle bag on my XS mountain bike so I had to come up with another solution. My friend told me about this rack and I chose this over other rack options because I wanted to be able to use my dropper post. I LOVE this rack!! Some tips: 1. DO NOT torque down to what is stated. Those are maximum values. I ended up breaking my first cradle because my friend told me I needed to torque to what it is stated. I made everything tight and snug but I don't mind the newton meters. They have amazing customer service and when I told them what happened, they sent me a replacement cradle right away! 2. Use some neoprene at your frame attachment points to protect your paint. 3. keep an allen wrench with you to tighten during your trip. Vibration causes things to loosen!

I installed this on my GOTRAX E BIKE, the fit was perfect, you can't go wrong with this rack. It only took a few minutes, and it feels like it was built for the bike. Looks awesome.

I have an EMTN bike. The frame on this is more tube shape and not round. I bought 2 other styles that claim they fit bikes. They did not. This one does fit, but I had to bend the frame inward a little to have it align with the frame of the bike. Ir comes with 2 buckle style straps that are not removable. The bag I have comes with sewn in straps. So to use this I either need to cut the straps on the bag or cut the straps on the cargo plate. The cargo plate feels a little loose with my bag, but I think that may be my fault on how I had to secure it to the plate. I have only been 7 miles do far and it held up fine. I have a dropper post on my bike. When I drop the seat the bag is too close to my back side. I can only adjust this about 1/2 “ more and still have it work. Over all it does whatnot is advertised to do. I need to test it more and see how it works on longer rides. I have one coming up in 2 weeks in Zions National Park. We will see if it holds up to the weight of water and extra clothes I plan to put in the bag, on the cargo frame. It was easy to install, although it did not come with any instructions. I was able to figure it out without any thought. It was obvious how it secures. The design is pretty good, but I am concerned a little the bag may bounce a lot on longer bumpy roads. I do not plan on keeping this on my bike when I am actually MTN biking. Only street rides.

I bought this mount myself and was very curious how stable it might be. This is actually the most rock solid bike mount I have come across and is incredibly diverse. The frame mounts to the bike without causing any scratching and the strap system can be oriented in any direction. It is extremely robust and does not vibrate or shift when riding. 10/10 recommended.

Brilliant and adaptable, stood up to some bone rattling descents. I love the versatility between my gravel and ebike and all the extras I can add. Love the fact I can also change the angle of the cradle. (Also bought the front cradle and it was woeful, can’t review because I returned it!)
