In other reviews, people have said that the end caps fall out. That’s because they installed the grips incorrectly. The end caps are supposed to sit snuggly inside your bike’s handlebar NOT the grip itself. When you first remove the grip from its packaging, you can see that the end caps fall off the end. That’s because the grip isn’t intended to secure the caps. What you’re supposed to do is: slide on the grip, THEN push the end cap into your handlebar. Finally, realign the grip to the end cap, and secure it with the wrench. These are really nice grips and I recommend them to anyone who has big-ish hands as they provide a thicker thing to grab onto as opposed to stock grips.

This product looks and feels great. The issue I ran into is that the inner diameter of the grips and lock are slightly too large for the size of standard handle bar tubing. This means that no matter how tight you crank down on the lock, these grips still twist and slip on the bars. In reality they should be slightly undersized so the rubber can stretch and grip the bars instead of slipping around. I'm sure it's possible to modify the locks and wrap the bars with grip tape to ensure a better fit, but it shouldn't come to that. For the price at time of purchase, there is still good value in these, even with the shortcomings and modifications that are needed. Just be aware of and ok with that possibility before purchasing.

Perfect replacement for worn-out old bar grips. These fit my handlebars to a T, and clamp easily in place with the enclosed clamp. The factory includes 3 extra small capscrews for tightening the clamp(s) and two Allen wrenches . The grips are comfortable, as recently tested on a six-mile climb in the hills between an interior valley and the Pacific Coast. They hold place, they feel great/are comfortable, they're nicely packaged and have some extras added in. Very satisfied with these bargrips.
