Very protective. I had the short gloves before that I use when I chop vegetables. But the long sleeves are perfect for gardening or animal rescue. I used them immediately upon receipt to wash a cat who needed a medicated bath. I finished unscathed for a change.

I bought these to deal with an angry kitten. They can bite and scratch through the gloves do i wouldn't trust a knife not to cut through them. A kitten claw makes a pull in the fabric. They appear metal looking but it's just the fabric color

I bought these gloves to work with squirrels. They did not work. The squirrel bit through and severed a tendon in my index finger. They are not bite proof.

Exceptional protection making them reliable for various tasks. the added sleeves offer extended coverage. I tried to cut it with the sharpest kitchen knife and did not even make any mark

They are ok, but I don't think really worth the price. I got them for bite protection. They provide no bite .
