My husband said the metal was a much better weight/thickness than the ones that originally came with the grill. Very happy.

These covers are the right size and length, but the two times I’ve used the grill makes me concerned about quality of the metal. The burners turn the metal red hot, which did not happen in the last few sets of covers I’ve owned. It makes me concerned about the longevity of the replacement and if it will become a fire hazard at some point.

These "heat plates" are well made and constructed of heavy gauge stainless steel. All well and good...However, the height of the "tent" portion of the plate is not tall enough for the Blue Ember FG50069-U401 gas grill. These plates are 1" tall, my originals are 2" tall. So I returned them. I would urge the seller to provide the HEIGHT specification for these plates, as well as all of the other heat plates sold. I would not have ordered them had I known the height was only 1". For some inexplicable reason, only the WIDTH and LENGTH specs are given in the descriptions, but NO HEIGHT data is provided?? Why?? Fortunately for me, there was NO problem with my return/transaction, as the seller and Amazon made the refund process very quick and easy. One final note, the CORRECT heat plate (not this seller's #) is SP94A-9 or 95691 for the aforementioned grill. These are sold on Amazon as well (different sellers).

Seemed to be good quality to replace the deflectors in my Blue ember Grill from Lowes. Perfect fit.
