Tea Kettle Stovetop, 2.64 Quart Food Grade Whistling Tea Pot, Mint Green

I love the look of this teapot. The red is dark and a tiny bit on the brown side, but for my kitchen that works very well and I think they also offer a brighter red. I like that you can flip open the spout from a lever on the handle. My last teapot didn’t do that and I missed it. The whistle wasn’t great, but as I washed it first and have only used it once, it may have had water in the spout cover which disables the whistle (I read this in their enclosed information). I wanted to write the review immediately because I am very happy with this teapot.

The best, most efficient tea kettle yet! Heats up just right. The whistle will distract you to take it off of the stove right away. Beautiful light green kettle looks beautiful in my kitchen. Alot larger than my past ones. A+

First of all, I'm a big tea drinker and was looking for a pretty one to go with my kitchen. The color is a very soft green. This tea kettle is bright and shiny and has a beautiful finish. It has an excellent whistle and I haven't had any problems with it whistleing, not once. There is a lever to open the cap on the whistle so you can't burn yourself. I enjoy making my tea and leave it on my stove because it's so pretty. I've had it for about six months now and it still looks and works perfect.

I'm using a gas stove. To get the full, loud whistle of the kettle, I needed to fill it full just below the spout (looking inside the kettle). It took about 6 minutes to boil and about 7 minutes to whistle. When I filled it with only 1 liter, I got the whistle but it wasn't very loud. That's why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Also, the handle still gets a bit hot. So, you may need to use a mitt. Otherwise, it is a beautiful kettle and although I just got it, I love it, so far. I'll have to give it more time to see how it holds up with my gas stove. UPDATE: I will probably be returning this. As beautiful as it is, I don't like the low whistle (barely audible) when I brew less than a full kettle of water, for example, a liter which is all I ever need. For the money , I would expect the loud whistle no matter how full the kettle is.

SUCH a CUTE teapot, I absolutely LOVE the vintage look & the color! Really nice size. I like the rubber texture of handle & knob on top of the lid. The rubber is really great quality making it so the handle/lid are heat resistant & can be handled without an oven mitt. However, it does include an oven mitt which is excellent quality & thick. Spout stays open so you don’t have to hold the button down. Button to put cap down is a little hard to use. Some reviews mentioned that the teapot doesn’t whistle but, it does whistle, it’s just a quiet whistle & you need to wait long enough for it to go off. Older teapots whistles louder but, many newer teapots have a more mild whistle. Overall, I am happy with this purchase. Great product, good condition, fast shipping! Rusty tea pot. We used it for 6 months. And this week we noticed it is rusty around the lid and inside the pot. So disappointed. It’s a nice looking pot so sad it didn’t last.

So far, I love this kettle, I got the light greenish color and it is beautiful! It heats up nicely, the whistle is very low

I bought this for my husband. He seems to enjoy it!
