I have had three sets of these over time. All still work. What happens is that my kids nick them so I have to buy more. Lights are very bright and very suitable for urban environment. I use two front and two rear. (My personal preference). One is on, the other flashes. A cycling instructor told me that having just flashing isn't a good idea as drivers find it hard to judge distance. Hence I have the fixed light as well. The flashing one is to alert vehicles to my presence, the fixed one allows them to have a very good indication of where I am. I should add that one set is fine. The on/off is easy using a pressure switch. Charging is via a USB connection which is very convenient as you can charge them about anywhere. Fixing to the bike uses a rubber attachment which goes around the handlebars (front) and could do similar rear (I fix mine to my bike rack which works a treat). You simply pull the rubber and click it over the lip on the light. I haven't lost a light due to the system failing, so I think it's pretty good. A nice element is that it is very quick to put on/take off so you don't have to leave the lights on when you, say, go into a shop. Besides, they weigh very little. Whilst I am sure there are disadvantages (battery life is pretty good, but obviously, given the system, may not last on a very long journey and you do need to keep the battery fully charged for longer trips or it might go dark). Alas, no level indicator for battery life. But you can't have everything in such a small system at the price. As I have two on, any flat battery is not too troublesome. I cycle 25 minutes to and from work and I guess I charge once or twice a week (As per earlier comment on battery life, I like to keep mine near full charge. For the price, I think these are a good bet and IMHO a lot better than some other systems I've seen, though there are undoubtedly even better ones out there.

Bought these for a holiday in case we had to bike at night. We did and they worked great. If you regularly cycle in the dark go bigger, brighter and more expensive. The clips easily attach to the frame or seat post. The rear lights can also flash. I haven't measured how long the battery life is but have used several times without charging. There is a green indicator when charged which is helpful. Good value.

For the price, they are very good, bright lights, but the battery will only last me approximately 1 hour before they are begging to be re-charged and as like many other customers, the back light just turns itself off after a couple of minutes. I cycle 30 minutes to work and 30 minutes back and the front light noticeably dims to the point it's just as I'm nearing home. THE POSOTIVES: Good price Easy to install Very bright Good for short journeys. THE NEGATIVES: Don't hold charge very well Charger connecter is a little bigger the others I have, so I can only charge with the cables supplied. Rear light does not stay on long before cutting out. No good for long journeys.

Great price for something so effective! If you’re a militant cyclist looking for those lights that blind drivers and bring down planes from the sky whilst you singe the plants as you pass then these lights are not for you. If, however, you’re a reasonable human being that want lights that mean you are clearly visible, light up a bit in front of you in the dark and which fit on any bike then you won’t go wrong with these. The batteries last really well (I haven’t run out of juice on a ride yet), are easy and quick to remove and charge and fit pretty much anywhere. I was so pleased with them I bought a second set for my wife.

Ok, so these were on offer (50% off usual) so I added them to my basket as you can never take for granted that other users of the road can see you especially as autumn looms. So on arrival, they were looked at. Initially took the rear (red) light out and examined it, it seems good build quality and had a number of different light patterns emitting from the 3 lens. So I charged that although the red charge light never went out so were unsure of the charge time (normally a green or no light indicates full charge) particularly as no instructions were in the box. After an hour or so of usb charging (cable included for both lights) I went to retrieve the front (white) light and lifted the rubber cover to insert the USB cable but there was nothing there. As I moved the light I could here what I assumed was the USB recepticle moving around inside. Clearly then, as they are USB charge only, the front light was useless which is dissapointing because the rear light was quite bright (lumens unknown) and would have been a good addition or back up to existing bike lights. This loose USB was either how it left the factory in which case poor QC or the damage occurred in transit. So they were returned back to Amazon. I will look elsewhere for an additional pair next time.

I bought these for my daughter’s bike as now it’s autumn and the days are getting shorter, she sometimes comes out with me when the light levels are low. I’d say they’re great value for money. Quick to charge and easy to strap on to the bike frame. They’re bright enough to be seen by other road users, but if you’re cycling where there’s no street lights, the front one is not going to be powerful enough to light your way. They look smart and seen well made.
