Q: will this work for silver dollar eggs

It wouldn’t be my first choice, they like spawning over live plants and won’t eat the eggs, rather then spend $ on that I’d setup a breeding tank or if there’s only them in the tank, id add more plants, that being said silver $ can be a challenge to breed successfully

Q: does the whole thing have to be underwater or can the top pipe stick out of the water? its too long for my 10 gallon tank.

Yeah it’s fine sticking out but it might make more noise, I took and used a hack saw to cut the lift tube so it would work better in a 20gl, but if you need a smaller version get the shrimp egg tumbler, it will work for fish eggs too.

Q: Do they work on angelfish eggs?

Yep, angels are cichlids too. As long as they are fertile eggs,it will work.

Q: Will this work for shrimp eggs also or is it only for the larger fish eggs?

Yes it will, that’s what I use it for, I cut the lift tube so it skim the surface in a 20gl, but they do make smaller for shrimp, it’s just they ship from China and it’s a longer wait
