SMV Industries 25TY202HLB2G2N 25 Gallon DLX Trail Sprayer

Really happy with this purchase. After having read lots of reviews for other sprayers complaining about cheap quality pumps, loose plastic hose clamps that leak, flimsy tires or trailer frame, I was happy to find this. I can happily say that this sprayer is pretty solid, US made pump (with separate owner's manual included), solid trailer frame, solid tires and axle, metal hose clamps, and actually pretty decent boom spray nozzles. I like the recirculate/agitate return line from the pump to keep the mix moving. 200gal or so through it already, looking good... Some minor nits for improvement: rubber gaskets at the drain plug and pump manifold were pinched and wouldn't seal so I substituted my own, and the bolts supplied to attach the trailer tongue to the trailer weren't quite long enough for the nuts to get more than a couple threads of contact.

Great sprayer. Assembled with easy, clear instructions in 30 min. Strong built frame, sprayers are easy to adjust if needed. Would highly recommend.

Arrived just as advertised, after tightening up all clamps and connections another quarter turn it held 60 psi for hours without any leaks. The boom sprays to about 8 feet wide, you can get it up to 12 or so if you angle the nozzles a bit outward and keep the pressure at the upper end. The adjustable pressure to the boom is a great feature for a value priced sprayer. I would highly recommend this for 1-5 acres, any more than that and I would probably step up to another model. This sprayer is on the small side, there's only about 2-3 inches of ground clearance, I'm not sure how it would handle very rough terrain. It also works great as a portable firefighting machine in the bush if you clean it out, the wand gives about a 30 foot stream.

So far I love it. It sprays a nice even pattern & worked real well on the acre of field I prepared for fall planting. The hand held wand works real good as well. I could stand nearly twenty feet from the weeds I was spraying. I have used a hand pump up sprayer in the past, boy this thing has made it so much easier. The quality seems pretty good for the price & was so easy to assemble , may have took ten minutes. The only thing I might alter is add a quick detachment fitting on the wand hose to remove it altogether when not in use.

Had to wait until I was able to use this sprayer, and see the results, before writing a review. In short, Awesome! This thing is saving me hours and hours of misery in the hot sun. Towing it behind a lawn tractor is just about the right speed to get the volume of product (weed killer) on the ground. Also, I found that if, on the next pass, I ran the left front tire in the track of the right front tire from the previous pass (or vice versa), it gave me about 50% overlap due to the width of the spray. Again, this provided perfect coverage.Just two issues. One, is that in our part of the country we have these weeds that have super-sharp spur-like seeds they call goatheads. These things can even go through a car tire. Well, the pneumatic tires that came with this sprayer were flat in about 2 seconds flat. I replaced with solid tires, and now all is well. Secondly, I just wish it were a little easier to see how much fluid is left in the tank from the front, so I can be sure not to run dry. Oh, one other thing. There are people reporting on here that the wand will spray like a fire hose. Don't believe that. You get maybe 10 feet of effective spray distance, no more.

Good quality parts and construction. The carton was damaged in shipment but all the small parts are packed inside the tank so nothing was missing. Assembled easily and all hardware was the proper size. (One review said tongue bolts were too short but my kit had a pair of longer bolts even though the instructions did not call them out.) I never thought I could own a trailer sprayer without buying a storage shed. However, this one is compact enough to fit in my garage space backed up directly behind my mower. The assembled dimensions are approx 45" wide, 50" long, 24" high. The width is the length of the boom. Like other reviewers, I bought this to replace a 3 gal back pack sprayer, which I used on an acre yard for the past 20 years. I will be much more effective at taking care of my yard, bushes and trees with this cool yellow sprayer.

Works great. Had a problem with the switch after the first three tanks, but called the factory and got a new switch in just a couple of days. Working fine again. I would say buy this if you have a need for a sprayer.

Immediately upon arrival I noticed box had been opened and re-taped. This seems to be happening more and more with this retailer. Everything initially appeared to be there so I began assembly. I get all the way to the end and discover the boom spray nozzle assembly is missing. Unable to use until parts replaced....sad.
