I have never been a fan of Birkenstocks, but I was living in New York City and walking everywhere, so I needed comfortable shoes. I originally wore FitFlops and thought they were very comfortable. But one day I saw the Gizeh style Birks and decided to give them a try. They are worth every penny. I love them. I got my first pair in the spring and wore them every single day until it got too cold. And then I got the clog style to wear in the cold weather. My first pair only lasted me about 2 years before the sole was worn down at the heel and peeling off in the front. They were in terrible condition, BUT I generally walked about 6 miles a day. I am not exaggerating when I say I wore them every day, so I easily walked over 1000 miles in them over the 2 years I had them. I didn't realize how much my feet hurt in other shoes until I got these and my feet felt great no matter how much I walked. When my sister came to visit me in the city, we walked 11 miles in a day. She had some horrible blisters, and I was perfectly fine. I decided to go ahead and order a new pair instead of having my old ones repaired. I have not been that excited for a package to arrive in a long time. I will still keep the old ones- you couldn't make me get rid of them, I will just have a "good pair" and a "bad pair".

As a busy mom of four I have always loved Birkenstocks, and unlike so many, I only buy one pair at a time until I wear them out. I was hesitant to buy these because I usually buy the standard two-strap Birks, but I decided to branch out and try something new. I didn't know if I would like something between my toes or not. However, I thought these were much cuter as far as Birkenstocks go. These did not disappoint. They're awesome and so comfortable! After the first couple days they were super comfy and the arch support is amazing! Love these - they did not disappoint! The fact that they custom mold to your foot due to the cork foot beds is the BEST!

I have tried many other high end orthopedic approved sandals to no avail.So I finally had to try Birkenstocks and I am sold. They are great if you love sandals and have fasciitis issues- they are part of a walking routine so you may need to stretch foot as they are not a cure for the fasciitis. They are also great for anyone with a bunion. Again not a cure and does help the toes separate. The neutral color goes with everything!

I'm so happy to have Birkenstock's back on my feet after a 12 year hiatus! This style features a synthetic upper, they are more like a very thin polar fleece material on the inside with a faux leather look on the outside. I was expecting the material to be a little more substantial given the price but the foot bed is what you are paying for when you buy Birkenstocks. All in all, I'm pleased with the fit and quality. For first time Birkenstock wearers, it does take time to get your feet used to them. I've been wearing them around the house for a few hours at a time to break them in. These are going on my feet all summer when I'm not at work!

I’ve had these about a year, but have only worn them a few times. They still are not very comfortable, but my main issue is that the footbed is peeling. My first pair that I got from Birkenstock, I’ve had for over 4 years, and they are so comfortable and have never peeled and I wear them all the time, year round.

I had a pair of the standard Arizona birks for years. I finally threw them out after the toes had worn down to a leather flap...I wore them for over 10 years. This modern design is so much cuter than those. These are only a couple of weeks old so far, but I have been wearing them like crazy. The first week they did need a little breaking in and the toe strap bothered me just a tad, but now they are forming to my feet and are very comfortable. I love these shoes.

I have been suffering with plantar faciitis and could not wear any shoes without a great deal of discomfort. These sandals are incredible, they have a pronounced arch and recessed heel for support. I have heard of Birkenstock sandals before but took the plunge and ordered a pair. They have made walking essentially painless!!! I will be forever grateful for the decision to purchase them! Love, love, love! I have super wide feet and plantar fasciitis. I was so nervous to try these. I love them! I did follow the directions and take several days to break them in. The first day my feet hurt. The second day I almost took them off but decided to see it through for an hour or two. So glad I did because I've had them about a week now and they are perfect!
