I like this product and have gone through a 1oz bottle purchased directly from Timeless. I'd read reviews about Timeless Vitamin C serum from other sellers, saying the batch they received was old an discolored. So I was a little worried about buying a 4oz Matrixyl 3000, even though Timeless assures 2-years shelf life after manufacture. The box I received in the mail today was sealed with the manufacturer's silver band, and had a date stamp from only two months ago. It looked authentic. So I'm hoping it's true and real. I like paying $20 less for the product than I would if purchasing directly from Timeless.As for the product itself, I like it because it's one of the only products that dermatologists in peer reviewed journals say actually boosts collagen significantly enough to be noticed. I wanted to try retynol, a proven collagen booster, but I'm out in the sun every day so just doesn't make sense to increase my skin's photo-sensitivity, which in and of itself causes wrinkles for those of us who are outside often. Matrixyl 3000, on the other hand, does not increase skin's sun sensitivity. For me, this is a huge plus.I have a noticed slight improvement, I've been using it for about 2 months. I'm a realistic person, and appreciate small improvements. There's no miracle fountain of youth out there. I've noticed a reduction in fine lines, and a small general overall improvement in elasticity. My skin just looks a little more robust overall since I've decided to use serums. Just do your research! And buy a reputable brand.

This is really 2 products in one: Matrixyl 3000 is a combination of peptides commonly used in anti-aging products to boost collagen production, and hyaluronic acid serum is a non-greasy humectant moisturizer. HA serum alone is often sold by high-end skincare companies for upwards of $50 for just 1.0 or 1.7 oz! And they usually add fragrances, colors, and other junk to it. Here you're getting a whopping 4 oz and no junk. There's no better deal anywhere, I've looked. This is not a magic potion and probably won't do a whole lot to reverse major skin damage, but if you want to prevent further aging and keep your skin as firm as possible, you'd be crazy not to have this in your arsenal. Especially if you've already spent money on chemical peels, laser treatments, or a facelift. Use this (and of course sunscreen) to protect that investment. One 4 oz bottle can last anywhere from a month to a year depending on if you only use it on your face, or on your neck, chest, tummy, upper arms, etc. I use it at night, but you can definitely use it during the day -- put it on first and let it absorb for a minute or two before applying makeup or sunscreen. Got the first 1oz bottle at a steal compared to the price now. But that is ok as the first bottle got me hooked. I love this stuff. My skin feels great and I use it with any type of moisturizer and I use less moisturizer so that is a plus on the wallet as well. I do see a difference. Now I will tell you I am not one to get up and have a routine daily of using anything so what I am saying is I use it only whenever and it still works. I might even work better if I did it all the time. The lines on my forehead are going away and it makes the skin around my eyes tighter so the lines there as well are doing great. Even the worry line between my eyebrows seems to be shrinking. It is hard to please me and I know I have tried so many things. So for the price I paid on the refill I will never let myself run out of this again.

This product is an adjunct to my serum that contains moisturizers and Palmityl Pentapeptide-3 which supercharges aging skin that is producing less collagen.
