Bought two. Epic spotlights. First photo is about 8:30pm mid-September at full power in the evening darkness. Makes my window/greenhouse look even more dramatic and awesome. 2nd photo is of my now thriving carnivorous collection at around 6pm same day. It'll go dormant for the winter soon but there's brand spankin' new growth, a last hurrah! Look at the tendrils on the string of hearts! I nearly dropped the plant in shock when I saw how BiG the leaves got under the lights. I thought of replacing these shelves with glass but the shades it provides for the plants that don't like full light is perfect. I only realized this after installing the lights, too. So relieved I didn't go through with it. They don't even detract from my aesthetics despite being front and center of the shelves. In fact, they kind of add a shivery, subtly insect-like creepiness to the whole scene. I'm a goth girl at heart and I'm in love. I will be purchasing more. My entire entertainment center still needs to be turned into another wall of my greenhouse lol. Although not sure how I'll keep the electronics from getting toasted. Really long cables! Or just give up on game consoles, TVs and other hobbies. Also I didn't have any problems repositioning the lights however I want. Yes, they sag. Gravity is a friend though. The arms should be weighty enough to help counter balance the lights. Using a bit of barely remembered high school physics, I S-curved them into positions where the the majority of the "elbow" of the S's are in a place that makes it "heavier" aka slightly lower and "centered" than the lights it's supposed to be holding up. (But NOT by too much. That's where you get the lights constantly being yanked or slooowly sagging almost as low as your will to live after watching all that hard, physical work just...wilt.) This way the lights themselves will actually STAY up, using the arm itself instead of fighting it and you. If you're anything like me my above explanation makes 0 sense. I have to physically move stuff around to understand or learn anything about it. There's no Photoshop shenanigans here. These are not double taped or tied to/velcroed onto anything, just using the shelves themselves to balance where it has a tendency to ride up or curve away. The ones arching over the top shelf is in the snakey s shape. Too bad photography tends to flatten everything. The S shape works best slightly vertical. Disclaimers! My set up probably isn't the same as yours but I swear, it's really cool once you've figured out its quirks. Of course, people might not want to put all that effort into the lights, would rather put it into the plants themselves. Perfectly valid! Personally, I'm 1.) hella lazy. Don't wanna return these despite an Amazon drop center being a leisurely 20mins walk, or a 6 min drive, away. 2.) some of you are probably aware anything that holds tension will slowly release it over time and these WILL lose their rigid flexibility. Hopefully not anytime soon but that's money that could go towards something much more reliable or at least might last through the next 2 years. 3.) My parents always said anything worthwhile is never effortless. Gotta give it a good go before giving up or saying it's not for me! 4.) These are relatively cheap 🤣 (I admit it, it's 1 & 4 for me)

Bought with the intent to add additional light to my plants during Winter months, and it works great. Docked one star since it is not a grow light in the sense that you could start seedlings with it. Timer control turns on daily at the same time as when I initially set the timer, thus no daily interaction required! Arms are adjustable, and hold their positions without sagging. Plug-in adapter runs warm on the 2-arm model, though I don't feel it is a fire risk. I would not recommend a model with 3+ arms though, as that would likely run hot.

My plant lives!!! We have no south or north facing windows so finding a plant to live in our living room is a challenge. But this has definitely been a game changer! Our parlor palm is still very healthy in its little corner. I love that we don’t have to remember to turn it on or off! It automatically comes on at the same time every day and turns back off after three hours. It’s not ridiculously bright to the point where it ruins the ambiance. The dual bendy arms let us get multiple parts of the plant, and the clip is securely placed. Love it!

I needed some adjustable plant lights for the top shelves of a set of plant shelves I have and the tops don't get any light. This fit the bill as I have 4 shelves combined and this was a 2 pack. Overall impression was quality, the spring clamp doesn't feel weak, the adjustable arms are not super easy to adjust but that probably helps in hold the position. I like there is adjustment on the brightness and built in timers. The cons: not many. First these are powered by USB connectors into a power plug adapter. That's not the downside because they include the adapter. The cord length is 54" max which in my case considerably short. Sony choices were get usb adapters or get a power strips can mount up behind my shelves solving the problem of the short cords. This cost me money one way or another. The other con and I would love to know the genius who approved this and the clear plastic removable protection wrap they cover the led lens with, well they secured it where the end caps on the led part is secure over it and being this is sticky clear wrap you will not get the plastic part out from under the caps and that drives me crazy. I don't like seeing plastic pieces sticking out and no matter how gingerly you try, wiggle it the plastic will break off leaving behind pieces sticking out from under the cap. Was this really necessary the wrap isn't coming off so why secure it under the caps which won't come off? So I took to using a razor because I wanted to clear up the hanging pieces as remove as much as I could because I can't stand seeing pieces sticking out. Like seriously what genius thought lets make it impossible to totally remove all the protective film, mind you there are 4 lamps? and this plastic is stuck on each end of all 4 lamps making it 8 pieces you will struggle to remove, ridiculous. Short power cables and this stunt cost 2 stars on something I would have given 5.

The product packaging is good. Tested the product and there are nine level of light intensity which is good. I placed my Cinnamon Verum plant indoor together with my Pandanus amaryllifolius near the window during cold months and will use this lights to help them grow and survive during the Sydney winter months. My opinion is to set the light intensity midway or lower just to compensate for the lower natural light coming into the window. Too high intensity is rather hot and probably shorten the led diode lifespan.
