Very high quality - DELICIOUS
Although it seems kind of expensive, I treated myself to a can of Geomar scungilli (conch), on a lark. The can arrived with more dents than a '75 LTD, and I wasn't sure what I'd gotten. I was frankly amazed at how fresh and sweet this scungilli was, with large pieces, to boot. Canned scungilli is often rubbery and overcooked. After tasting a piece plain, I used the rest for a seafood fra diavolo sauce. Even with lots of spice, and other seafood mixed in, this scungilli's flavor shone through with each bite. Hopefully, the price will come down a bit, but I will still buy again.

Made me sick to my stomach
I've been sick to my stomach for two days now since eating this and not sure if it's going to even stop. I won't get into the details but let's just say coming out of the back end non stop. Learned my lesson about buying canned seafood online. Don't do it. Also it tasted and smelled too fishy. I wasn't sure if it was or wasn't supposed to taste like that but I'm guessing not.

The meat is very firm. Not soggy. Great for a snail salad. Will order more

Good for snail salad. I've ordered 4 times and all cans were dented!
I'm guessing (because of the dented cans) these are seconds not good enough for the restaurant industry. I make my own snail salad with it and it is excellent. It is tender and good size chunks (not sliced). Rinse them off, add some thinly sliced celery, onions, garlic, parsley, red pepper flakes, olive oil & lots of vinegar, salt and pepper, let it marinate for a few days.

Should have bought LaMonica Scungilli
I tried this brand as the one that I usually get was unavailable locally. This scungilli was disgusting! It had a grittiness to it even after several rinses. It literally cause little crystals to form in the marinara sauce, which made it inedible. I will say that the company made this right by issuing a refund.

OK, but not great.
This is better than the Sanniti scungilli also sold on Amazon but not as good as the Lamonica. You pretty much get what you pay for. More small pieces here as opposed to consistent slices.

Tender conch
It is the easiest way to make conch chowder. Tender and flavorful. Definitely recommend.
