I'd give 3.5 stars. Was nervous that estimated delivery time was 1 - 2 months but it arrived in 1 week. The product matches it's description and it does not have an unpleasant odor. It is a great value for the price. Time will tell if it will hold together under regular use.There are minor cosmetic issues such as the front pouch placement not being exactly parallel or perpendicular to the other lines of the bag. A few holes where a mistaken stitch was placed then removed.My biggest issue with the bag is the strap - the buckle sits exactly in the middle so it is uncomfortably digging into my shoulder when i use it. Any length adjustment to avoid this means the bag is hanging past my knees - I'm 5'4". The piece that is supposed to pad the shoulder is on the shorter side of the strap meaning there is no way to center it. It would be best if the manufacturer halved the length of the strap on which the buckle is attached and extended the opposite strap. Since I have the tools, I will most likely punch some extra holes to try and get the buckle off center by shortening the strap and I will cut off the shoulder pad since it will never be centered.

I am very disappointed ( an understatement), I purchase this product knowing that in Amazon it says: In Stock and it normally ships in 3 days. I checked other reviews from this seller and they all bad in comes with shipping, but knowing the information I was given regarding that the product is in stock and it ships in 3 days so I made the purchase and did it Dec 3, 2013. I checked back and says DELIVERY ESTIMATE Wednesday, December 11, 2013 - Monday, December 16, 2013 by 8:00pmShippedSo I feel pretty good that the product comes in time for a birthday gift. After the said date the product still didn't come, and so I tried finding information that I can call this company but no info at all so I use the amazon information to contact the seller, it took 2 days to get back to me, the guy name "Mark" told me that don't worry this will come before Christmas. I bought it for a birthday gift and not Christmas. But I waited anyway and and so I have to rush to the mall and get something for my husband birthday. But again, Dec. 23 the product still wasn't here and and I reply to the email sent to me and ask why still not there, and said that they are sorry. Here an excerpt of the email.Because of problems we’ve met while handling the large increase in demand for the holidays, we’ve had to increase production rapidly while maintaining our quality standards. Because of our failure to communicate and deliver in time we will be refunding your order 100% while still shipping out your bag.Note the last sentence they refunded me and still ship the bag. I don't know what to make of it, another promise? Seriously. Today is already Jan 4, 2013 and no bag at all!! I hope that Amazon considers this type of company to do business with.

EXCELLENT BAG!!! I love this bag. It is Professional but causal. Professional enough to take on a job interview and casual enough to bring to the office and use it everyday.The smell of the bag is very strong at first, but put the bag in the sun and it not only darkens the leather but also removes the very strong odor. I love this bag. The strap is just long enough and its comfortable enough to have it on your shoulder for 10-15 minutes at a time, in the office, out of the office, walk to another office. I can't see this being comfortable around the shoulder for more than 15 minutes at a time but that is just an opinion as I have not tried doing that.Its a classy looking bag with just the right amount of space and pockets. If you choose to buy one now, you will be happy!

Good bag, but straps are to thin

The material is very cheap. It's not worth the price.

I bought this as a gift for my son and I think he will love it! Not too fancy but still looks professional. Lots of pockets and interior is nice and soft. The only downside is the smell! Others tell me it's just the smell of leather but it is VERY strong! If you or someone you are buying it for is sensitive to overpowering smells, then you may not want to purchase. I think he will still love it and can't wait to give it to him!

Love the bag itself. Looks great and fits my laptop. HOWEVER...the pieces of leather holding the shoulder strap broke six weeks after getting the bag and so it is now a briefcase, not a messenger bag.
