Quarter Miles: 3 (Runaway)

Another amazing addition to the series! I adored the chemistry they fought and the struggle they had to realise their feelings for one another. Devney always manages to set up the next story perfectly while still being very much relevant to the one we're reading.I'm excited to see what adventures the Cadillac's drivers will have next!

Quarter Miles by Devney Perry is the third book in her Runaway series. Emotional interconnected standalone romances that take us through the lives of a group of runaways all grown up. This is Katherine and Cash's story and it's a friend-to-lovers with a bit of unrequited love added to the mix. Told in dual POV, we finally get some insight into Cash's mindset and how he really feels about Kat, even when he doesn't quite realize it. With this series we have travelled from Boston to West Virginia to Montana and finally to Oregon and a beautiful seaside town that threatens to steal Katherine away from the beautiful landscape of Montana and Cash's family resort and ranch. The push and pull between these two is deep. Neither one can objectively view their situation. Add in the road trip sizzle and complicated feelings quite literally explode! I loved this - it was emotional without being dark, had a wonderful happy ending for Kat and Cash while also perfectly setting up the story for the next runaway, Aria. Loved it! Enjoy!

4.75*I'm pretty sure I started the last review of a Devney Perry book the way I'm about to start this one. I swear every book I read of hers gets better and better. This gripped me from page one and only let go for me to sleep a few hours then had me again.We really met these characters in Wild Highway and Cash and Katherine are friend. Best friends. And I'm a sucker for a lot things, but ESPECIALLY best friends to lovers stories. And I really loved everything about this. The characters, the writing, the longing, the angst. Gimme more.This was really touching in places and my heart broke in spots, but I LOVED these characters and I can't wait to see what happens on the next leg of this road trip.I received an ARC from the author and I volunteered to leave an unbiased review.
