Does it all exceptionally well. Very well rounded CPU
Workstation> No problem, seriously exceptional performance and intensive workstation capabilities. Server> Full fledged server workload capabilities, yes. Everyday PC computing> Doesn't even flinch. Gaming> Not a gamer myself and my pc build was set up as a workstation but my setups benchmark scores on user benchmark were very good at 121% With good GPU and motherboard this CPU will not disappoint for the money.

A 5950x with 8 Channel RAM & 128 PCIe Lanes
A 5950x with workstation capabilities. This CPU is a beast, and it's still 48 physical cores less than the 3995wx, and half the cores of the similarly clocked 3975wx. I've had this system built for a week now, I've benched and tested this rig, and without a doubt this is the most stable PC I've ever built. If you need a PC for professional work, your budget allows, and you prefer the higher clock speed over the extra cores, this is definitely a great choice! Only con: Unfortunately, the tray tab for my CPU came broken making it harder to handle, but not a big deal. CPU has been flawless and ultra stable.
