A great chair, as long as you check your enthusiasm :) .
After a week of sitting in the Iskur Fabric I'm happy to recommend this chair, as long as you can balance the strong advertising hype surrounding gaming chairs with the reality :). At 38, 5'10" and 230lbs, I'm within specs of the standard size chair but also probably not the typical user. Not sure there is any chair out there that can fit everyone's needs. Teens and twenty-somethings are most likely the target market, but also may not fully appreciate one of the main features of this chair: the adjustable lumbar support. I was looking for a chair that was solid and supportive, but also had a little gaming flair and this chair is a great fit for that. Assembly was very easy, although some pieces are quite heavy (in a good way). The full metal legs feel very strong. The wheels seem like the typical office variety but might be a little slow considering the weight of the chair. I'm considering adding some rollerblade wheels. The tops of the armrests feel just a little wobbly, but also they can be adjusted in every direction. The lumbar support is great and just what I was looking for. The support is not a weak pillow, but very solid and is completely adjustable thanks to a gas piston inside the chair. The whole chair hugs the body and for better or worse kind of forces the user to sit in an ergonomic position. I don't think someone much larger than me would be comfortable in the chair though as the sides of the seat do press in on my legs just a bit as is. However, again this was just what I was looking for as it helps me sit up straight and not slouch or tilt to the side like in my previous chair. For my height the headrest and neck pillow fit me just right. If I was much shorter, the head pillow would hit the back of my head and not my neck. As is it is very comfortable and a nice change from my short-backed chair. The foam in the chair is somewhat rigid, and may not be suitable for someone who is using their chair in a full-time job. However, for a few hours of gaming this level of hardness keeps me from sinking into a bad posture. The muted styling of the fabric chair is just what I was looking for. I wanted something that looked fun but also wasn't childish, and Razer struck a great balance with this one. The fabric is very breathable but also feels very sturdy. The Razer logo is on the chair in several places, but doesn't jump out like in other styles. To recap, as a part-time gamer/most-time adult, this chair does a great job of balancing my needs. If you're trying to find a chair that says "Don't worry buddy, you're still cool" while also supporting your aging back, this might be the one for you :) .

Great gaming/office chair
I got this on sale for $350 and at that price it can't be beat. You get the features and performance of a chair 3 times the price (cough. Herman Miller. cough). Some quick thoughts below (not going to repeat official specs you can find elsewhere) (1) Very well put together. I have had 2 other gaming chairs and both used to creak or otherwise protest under routine usage (swiveling/leaning back/wheeling etc) but this doesn't (or at least not much) (2) The color is muted, not much bling (unlike most Razer products - no LEDs or neon accents). Lettering on the chair fades into the color scheme as well. All of that to say - other than the silhouette/profile, this can pass for an office chair on Zoom calls. (3) The adjustable lumbar support is a game changer. One of my favorite features of this chair. (4) The seat is a bit firm. I would have like slightly softer cushioning or a way to adjust that ;-) but maybe I am asking for too much. (5) The box is BIG and HEAVY. A definite 2 people lift. I had to get this down to my basement down a narrow and steep set of stairs, ended up unboxing the chair upstairs and carrying the parts down. (6) Easy to setup alone - actually a fair bit is pre-assembled, just a matter of throwing things together and tightening a few bolts. On that front, some of it seems over-engineered or a bit "extra". For instance, the small caps that go on top of the bolts to cover them up are different for the left and the right side. I don't understand what purpose that serves, wouldn't it have been easier to make them interchangeable. All in all, if you are looking for a great office/gaming chair with excellent lumbar support and all the features you may need, look no further. (7)

No Squeak & Surprisingly Comfortable
Wanted an office chair that didn't squeak or moan, and after a week of use this chair is perfect! No noises at all. Surprised by: (1) how well made/sturdy/mostly made of metal, nothing cheap about this chair, (2) 8 screws total/great large printed instructions/8 steps, (3) Three tilting adjustments for the seat alone and four adjustments for the arm rests, and (4) I'm 5'8" 160 lbs and the lumbar support is perfect for me and the rest of the chair oddly fits my frame perfectly (not exaggerating). Really surprised by: (1) the seat has an edge that basically hold your legs in or it is possible to exert a lot of pressure, outwards, with you legs against the cushioned-edge of the seat which for gaming keeps me in the seat, (2) how adjustable the seat/height/arm-rest are, when I say unlimited it's sort of true; I keep making fine tuned adjustments and I've never had such few problems sitting in a chair or getting out of one i.e. a couch is either too low or saggy or too cushiony and getting out of one leaves me feeling sore at different parts of my body, and (3) the pedestal is awesome, this chair sits on tile and all other chair get caught on the hills/valleys of tiles--not this chair, it rolls absolutely flat Complaint: (1) heavier people might find the seat too hard over long periods of time (2) it is a large chair, at 5'8" the top of the chair almost comes up to my chin, that's not bad, it is that this chair has a lot of mass and takes up space (for anyone with those concerns). I would definitely buy this chair again!

Not comfortable at all (until you break it in)
EDIT: After a week of owning this chair, I must say, you get used to it. And thus, I will be giving it another three stars. Some of the things mentioned below still bother me a bit, but overall, this is a very high quality chair that you need to get used to. Although the lumbar support is still a bit annoying, it is possible to push it even further back with a lot of force. I also recommend a foot rest. That will give you a much more natural position and your legs won't be hanging. It's a very stiff chair all around and nothing will change that. If you don't mind to be on the firm side, you will get used to it. The back ache this chair was giving me is no longer there thankfully. And I can say with confidence that I could sit all day on it with major issues. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was very excited to replace my 6 year-old generic brand "gaming chair" with a higher end chair and after some research I came across this one. I've read amazing reviews about it and I could not wait to finally get it. But I must say I am disappointed. This chair has so many negatives that I'm trying to find a way to cope with the fact that I spend so much money on it. 1) Comfort. This chair is not comfortable at all. Yes, the cushioning is hard as a rock, but that is not the problem. I like firm chairs and that is fine with me. The problem is that it is almost impossible to find a relaxed position that won't give me what this chair mainly advertises, which is back pain. With my old chair, I had zero back pain and could stay on it for an entire day. Ten minutes on this Razer Izkur chair and my lower back is screaming in agony. The main issue is the built-in lumbar support. It just does not work. It's constantly pressing on your lower back and in my case it will trigger a really back pain after a few minutes. I tried adjusting it as far back as possible, but that won't mitigate it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? 2) Lack of shoulder support. Without the headrest pillow, your head and shoulders are pushed back too far, making the lumbar support hurt even more, as you're pretty much bent backwards on your lower spine. With the headrest pillow, you are now forced to maintain a straight position with your neck in the air, and your shoulders are just floating. This not only triggers neck pain, but also back pain. 3) Lack of thigh support. You feel like you're floating side to side on this chair. 4) Chair is too high. Even on the lower setting, this chair is simply too high and your legs never feel like in a proper resting position. I am 6'1-6'2 (170lb) and feel like my legs are hanging. This also makes it impossible to play racing games with my sim wheel stand. It's not all negatives though. The materials are great and the build quality is far superior than any generic spam brands. This chair will last a decade or more, just by looking at it and feeling it. The fabric feels amazing.

SO COMFORTABLE, Easy to Build, and Looks Great - Get this chair!
Let me start of by saying I love everything about this chair. I have been a gamer all my life, and when I started working from home and would be at my desk for 10+ hours a days with work and then any gaming sessions at night. I wanted a good and comfortable gaming chair. I've had this chair now for 4 years. And it's still extremely comfortable, looks great, and has no issues. It is very easy to set up. It is a bit heavy so if you ever have to move, make sure you take it apart or be strong. The wheels on this thing hold up and are great, for carpet or hard floors (I've used it on both). On carpet I always recommend getting a mat, but even if you don't it works great. The lumbar support that you can adjust is my favorite thing about this chair, it adds an extra level of comfort. Any time I have friends over, they want to sit in my chair, and I always get compliments on how it looks and the comfort level. If you can afford the cost of this chair I would recommend it. This thing will last you YEARS, and holds up. It might be a little more expensive than the off-brand chairs on Amazon, but it is absolutely worth the extra bucks. Recommend this chair over Secret Labs Chairs (I've had one before, this one is better)

Back pain relief!
This chair does great! I'm 6'1" and 200lbs, and it does a pretty good job keeping your back in a neutral position. The arm rests really help ensure proper weight distribution, and keeping your arms in a comfortable position. Noticed less stress on my wrists once i started using this chair (gotta keep the arm rest level with the desk top). The lumbar adjustment is pretty good, but what makes it work is the fact that the chair can tilt back. I'm not talking about reclining, the entire bottom cushion tilts back. This allows the weight of your own body to push you against the lumbar, and takes the strain off your upper and lower back to sit properly in the chair. The bottom cushion is a bit stiff at first, but after a month, it gives a little and almost conforms? It's weird to explain. Anyways, make sure you have the proper foot placement too. If you need a foot cushion on the floor to make sure you're not straining your knees or sciatic, do so. All around an excellent design. I definitely prefer the cloth design, as you don't stick to the chair! It breaths nicely. The neck support pillow is a nice touch. For me I can put it right under the base of my skull, and it pretty much supports my head weight. Great chair, would recommend to buy if you are working from home all day, or want a gaming chair that will make gaming comfortable and enjoyable.

DON'T BUY THIS CHAIR! Quality is shoddy and support is so bad it is jaw dropping.
I rarely write reviews but feel a responsibility to anyone who is consider buying this piece of junk. THE QUALITY IS BAD BUT THE SERVICE IS WORSE, BY FAR. We bought this, as a big Christmas gift for our teenage son, who is an avid gamer and (former) Razer fan boy. It was defective right out of the box -- the much touted lumbar support didn't work. So, we contacted Razer support who requested proof of purchase and a video of what doesn't work. And we continued to do that ten -- no exaggeration -- ten more times on request over the last two weeks, all to no avail. No replacement part expressed shipped, no actual human being available, no chat function with the capability to resolve the issue, no human reach out, no empathy, no ability to connect with anyone with authority to resolve the issue. This is not situational, this is a systemic decision on behalf of Razer to leave their customers on their own. We do get maddening cheerful emails asking us to, once again, submit proof of purchase and a video of the problem. Ten times over two weeks. We have tried to call, but they don't even support the chair via phone; we have tried the chat, they don't provide support. Really, this is a $500 chair and that's important but what is worse is the intentional uncaring core philosophy of this company when it comes to even business 101 basics. You sell something, you stand by it. Our experience with this shameless, miserable company -- the quality of its expensive product, the overt uncaring support experience is something we'll deal with as adults. It's hard for my son and his friends to realize that the company they identified with is an awful one. We have agreed to replace every piece of Razer equipment he has, and there is plenty of it, with something made by "anybody else, please!" We don't like what it says about us to have Razer products in the house. We have our own standards of integrity and service, and don't tolerate being treated this way by anyone or any company. We teach our son the same. UPDATE: It has been about a month since my first review. During that time we have received two more requests from Razer to provide proof of purchase and a video showing the problem, so a total of twelve times we have sent this information. A couple of weeks ago we finally got an email that Razer had Federal Expressed a replacement for the defective part. Never arrived, of course. This is why we bought it from Amazon, who has been unfailingly supportive, including extending the return period while we attempted to get resolution from Razer. We're sending the chair back now, glad to be rid of such an overpriced, poorly performing product and a customer relationship that was uncaring, fraudulent and, really, just hostile. We dumped all the other Razer products in the trash in one glorious move -- mice, keyboards, headsets, mousepads -- having replaced them with products that are easily as good. The company is banned in our house and remains a constant source of conversation amongst my teenage son and his friends, who have likewise lost all of their former affection for it. There are real problems in the world and this isn't one of them. It's only a gaming chair that became a chronic annoyance for couple of months but if I can save you from experiencing the same, it was worth it to spend the time writing this review.

Honest review
I purchased this chair last year, replacing a NOBLE chair I had for about 5 years prior. The selling point for me was the lumbar support. Also, I have many other parts around my PC that are razer as well. Below is my honest review. The Good Chair looks awesome. It pops and was pretty simple to put together, although I did need some help from my kids. Sitting in it took a little bit of getting used to, its not as plus/comfy as other gaming chairs I have had, but it does support well-which I think will be good on my back for long gaming sessions. The Bad After about 6 months it began to wobble. I thought it was odd, as my NOBLE chair did nothing like this and I had it for 5 years, but I lived with it. Then it started totally rocking side to side while being used. If I leaned to get something from the other side of my desk, the chair came with. The chair would rise a small amount on its own, something i noticed when I could not put it under the desk without lowering the arms. I reached out to RAZER and to their credit, they did send me a new cylinder and connection for the bottom of the chair. To their negative, they did not send me a new wheel base nor the plastic part that goes over the cylinder to (I'd assume) stop people from getting their fingers caught. This means instead of a 5min remove and replace, I had to spend a good hour knocking the crap out of the bottom to dislodge the wheel base, then another hour to get the cylinder out of the bottom. I think this was totally unreasonable. I understand, Razer did not HAVE to send those additional parts, but when someone spends 500 dollars on a chair that is under warranty, maybe sending the extra 20 dollars in parts would have made the customer happy. Overall I'd say this chair is a solid 3-could be a 4 to 4.5 if the replacement parts would have been sent instead of making me spend an afternoon to fix something that should have never broken in the first place. If (and this is a big if) this chair lasts me another 2-3 years I'd be surprised, and I will be going back to NOBLE or SECRETLABS for my chair needs in the future.

So THIS is what a real gaming chair feels like!
First up, let's get the price dealt with. It's a big issue as most of us don't have an extra 800 bucks lying around. I was fortunate to get this on sale for $500CAD. The price gets dropped regularly. As I write this edit, Dec 12th, it is back to what I paid for it. So, seems you don't have to wait too long for a sale. I gave it 5 stars for value based on the sale price. At $788, the currently listed price; I don't know. I mean, it's a really great chair but at almost $800CAD plus tax, I'd have a hard time paying that much. Of course, if the money isn't an issue, yeah. I'd be all over this. Anyways, it is a great chair. Hands down the best I have ever had. It comes in a HUGE box and it is HEAVY! I'm not going to repeat everything that's already in the description but I can confirm that it is made of some heavy duty materials that were made to last. Assembly took about an hour by myself. Mostly because it is heavy and tricky to manipulate into position by yourself so I wanted to take my time so as not to do something stupid like poke a hole in it or tear the seat. Lining the bolts for the back was a bit annoying as they don't line up easily when doing it by yourself. It's not that they aren't in the right place, it's just again a matter of being really heavy and having to keep it in place while you attach the 6 bolts (4 to attach it to the frame, 2 to attach the covers for each side) The lever for the lumbar support didn't work at first. It's on what I would compare to the brake cable on your mountain bike. It needs adjusting to get it at the right tension to work properly. I've seen a lot of people complaining about it and saying it broke. I can pretty much guarantee that in most of those cases, it was because the person just kept pulling on the handle or never bothered to check the YouTube video provided that shows you how to adjust the tension. It's easy to attach to the seat via a quick release if you need to adjust it more. The real test was sitting my butt down and getting after it. First thing I noticed is It is incredibly firm. I thought maybe it would be uncomfortable but 2 hours of iRacing later, my butt and more importantly, my back wasn't feeling like it did when I did the same time in my old $399 Serta chair that was supposed to have great lumbar support etc but really didn't. I am not a small dude at 5'11" and 240lbs. I have broad shoulders and not exactly a tiny waist lol. My thighs are also pretty hefty and that being said, the chair fit me perfectly. The curvature of the upper shoulder area, the lower back, and the seat all sat exactly where they should without any poking or discomfort. Razer's lumbar support is far more advanced than most chairs that just have some adjustable bump that pushes into your lower back. It's a...plate....for lack of a better word, that moves outwards and supports a large area of your lower back. I am plagued by L3-L5 damage and my Serta chair made it worse. I have put in some long sessions, 6 hrs for instance, and not had any pain in my back OR in my butt. So, I can attest to the quality of the lumbar support without hesitation. I have seen people complain that they don't like the upright sides of the seat because their thighs were sore after so I can only assume that since my pudgy legs fit comfortably, that maybe the X XL would have been better for them. I love that my legs are held in place when racing for hours and because there's some extra room I rolled up a small towel and put it between my left thigh and the seat edge to make it even more of a snug fit. When you're braking, accelerating and steering hundreds of times a race, you don't want to have to clench your legs together to keep your feet in the optimal position for left foot braking and hitting the throttle. That takes a lot of the discomfort I would feel in my other chair completely out of the equation. The lumbar support is amazing. The difference I felt at the end of the night after about 5 hours of racing, was so noticeable. Usually I'd get up, make some Dad noises while doing so, and then spend half an hour getting back to normal. Now, it's not like that at all. The almost infinite ways you can adjust the lumbar support, back angle, seat angle and height, will get you exactly where you need to be. You need to take your time and fine tune it to your preference. It took me a few races before I had it perfect for my taste. While you may think it's too firm, unless you're super light, you'll notice that the high density foam actually form fits your bottom and thighs just the right amount to make your seated position perfect for your body type. I don't have to use memory foam cushions any more. I don't have long legs so at first it felt too high (even set at the lowest position) for racing, so I just swapped out the wheels with the ones from my older chair as they are a bit smaller and it was enough to give me the position I need for racing. I spent a couple hours playing Division 2 and it was really nice not having to get up and adjust a bunch of extra cushions every few minutes. I was perfectly seated and totally comfy. Most importantly, my back and butt weren't sore at any point. It's not cheap, but it's well built, very ergonomic, and the difference between this and my other chair extremely noticeable. I'm really happy I bought this. It's expensive because its a quality, high end piece of gear and made to last. Easy to recommend to any gamer looking for THE chair. *note: While I am a Vine Voice reviewer, this was a personal purchase, paid for with my own money. So, no I'm not giving it a good review for other reasons. It is a great freakin' chair.

Fantastic Chair!
This chair is fantastic, the quality is remarkable, and the ergonomics are unique. Other reviews that mention the price is too high have never owned a quality chair before. You truly get what you pay for, so if you'd rather have a bad quality chair that you'll replace within a year then go with a $200 dollar chair. If you want a chair that will last well over 12 years then pay the price and experience quality. My last DX Racer lasted me 11 years and is still in fair condition. The $200 chair I bought on Wayfair to replace my DX Racer was given away to a family member in less than a month. Cheap chairs are just not worth it, save up for a good chair and you'll be happy! The chair is stiff when you receive it, but don't be alarmed. You need to break the chair in, and once you do it's extremely comfortable. The chair was also extremely simple to setup, which I appreciated.
