Why not for shower walls ?

The surface must be smooth if used in shower, such as glass, old tiles, metal surfaces, please make sure it is clean and dry when installing tiles and you can use glass glue to improve the waterproof performance. Hope it helps!

What kind of grout to use for gaps?

There really aren't any gaps to grout. It's not like traditional tile. Just stick one tile right up against the next.

If you use them in the shower are you able to stick/suction cup things like shower shelves to them?

Can I put this on top of existing tile backsplash? We aren’t in a position to tear it out, fix the drywall & re-tile
