The product arrived defective. 3 out if 6 bowls have outside texture (the unique dented patterns) scratched off, and 1 out of the 6 bowls has two crack lines. Terrible quality, cannot believe this is MIKASA. I got a set from Costco, love it, but it is sold out there so I bought a set here.Updates: after comparing the bowls I purchased from Costco (the 2nd picture, and the left ones from the pictures of two bowls) to the bowels I got from this vendor, I suspect this is a counterfeit product. Because:1. The bowel outside texture is completely different. The dents are in much smaller size, don't give you much grip as the bowls I got from Costco. And several bowls even don't have any dents on the lower part of the bowel, instead of shining finish they were shining on the upper half and Doom on the lower half (see the first picture), look very ugly. See picture one , bowel got from this vendor; picture two, a bowel from Costco; and picture three and four for comparison(left from this vendor, right from Costco).2. The bowel from this vendor is much lighter than the one from Costco. And from the picture 5 edge comparison you can see the bowel from the vendor is much thicker than the bowel from Costco. In other words, it is lighter but thicker, could be using poor quality clay or whatever material they used.Bottom line is I don't trust this vendor and the product. I have return the package as defective product. Save your hard earned money, don't waste it here.

These bowls are the perfect size and shape. They are like works of art you get to hold in your hand and eat out of. They feel wonderful in your hand and look stunning on the table. We're a family of four and these are a terrific addition to our cupboard. We use them for cereal, soup, pasta, stir fry, etc. The bowls are super versatile.They are easy to clean and still look new after I've run them through the dishwasher almost daily.They make me smile. I love that they are each unique. My daughter said she was in a "blue bowl" mood today and everyone in our family understood ;-)

Had to buy these as a replacement my sister’s first set she got as an Xmas gift I broke by accident slid off the wet counter onto the floor! If you drop it just a few inches into the sink they break. Very fragile so don’t let the kids use them! Looks pretty on the table but not for everyday use.
