A great book - very interesting and very well written - Samantha's stories of the sex industry are incredible and I found this to be one of the very best books I've ever read - she has so much to say and I know you'll find it very interesting too - definitely read this book !

I thought it was an interesting and honest portrayal of her life and path she's chosen. It was real, and I admire her for speaking her truth.

I admit that this kindlebook that is Hooked: The Salacious Secrets of Samantha X: Sydney’s Top High Class Call Girl by Samantha X definitely has some wild and outrageous moments in this memoir. The way that the author describes a multiple number of her client/customer encounters and her candid feelings about the money made give a revealing glimpse on her life employed in legalized prostitution in Australia. The author is also honest in how her personal and professional life in both journalism and prostitution shaped what she shares about in this kindlebook that is Hooked The Secrets of a High Class Call Girl . I admit that despite this kindlebook being set in Australia via legalized prostitution, it helped me guess some of the reasons why my late biological mother might have voluntarily chose to work as a prostitute in the U.S. despite the social stigma and danger associated with the field in the U.S.. Because of this disclosure, I prefer to try to remain unbiased about prostitution as possible though I do admit that if prostitution was ever legalized in the U.S. that I hope some rules are established to where prostitutes who are mothers are assigned a social worker with a law enforcement professionals/law enforcement employees to check in with the child andor children on a weekly basis (which could also create more certain probabilities/circumstances in also identifying and/or confirming the identities of the fathers of the children). I admit that my sentiment in this is indirectly shaped by the knowledge that my late biological mother died young in 2003 around the age of 38 and along with her death died certain knowledge/certain confirmation on the certain identity of my biological father because of her lifestyle. However, the author Samantha X appears to have voluntarily worked in prostitution well after her children came into this world and it appears that there is probably obviously full knowledge/complete understanding on their father’s identity.

I thought the stories were great, at times I got a little board, but at other times very interesting. I would recommend to others.

She is right...men do have a lot going on inside their head! Women need to recognise this and listen! I know we get caught up in the humdrum of life but we need to make the effort to turn our men on and make them want us! Rock out the stockings and the sex toys ladies!

This was an interesting insight into the Australian upmarket escort industry and her personnel life, have read several memoirs of escorts from other countries and found “Hooked” on par with the others. I have always enjoyed the glimpse into others life’s, thank you Amanda, a brave discussion.

I hope she'll now put her legs up and hook into the non-physical aspects of the universe. After all the body is ephemeral and the soul eternal. I acknowledge that the writer is courageous, skilled, and likeable.

Very well written and incredibly entertaining- I couldn’t put it down and immediately purchased her second book which I read back to back with this one! Hope she writes another one soon!

A nice one

A semi-biographical and fascinating story of Samantha X and how she chose to become a sex worker and became one of Australia's most exclusive and certainly its most high profile escort. She humanizes the occupation and moves it towards greater acceptance as a valuable service industry whilst showing it aids its clients in understanding themselves and making their lives a little better. In writing this book she has successfully made herself Australia's de facto intellectual leader and advocate for the world's oldest profession. Written in a light, humorous and very readable style its a great read for anyone interested in the subject who wants to learn more about the profession and those who work in it.

Interesting reading. You could see that it was all very frank and straight.It met my expectations and gave me a good insight into the escort life and biz.

I followed Samantha on Instagram for years and finally have just finished this book and about to start the next one. This book was fantastic and really gave an insight into the industry that for me is so intriguing m, however it isn’t like the tv shoes and movies. Looking forward to the next chapter Samantha. Xox
