Zeppelin Unisex Chronograph Quartz Watch with Leather Strap 7038-1

I never realized I was fussy about watch designs until it came time to replace my last one. My poor beloved wife searched everywhere trying to find one that met my specifications, including returning two prior purchases, until we happened upon this one.It appears that many of us want very specific things out of a watch design. I like a timepiece that reminds me that our conceptions of time (days, months, etc.) are connected to the movements of the heavens. So a genuine moon phase dial is a must for me. It's infuriating how many watches are out there that purport to have moon phase dials actually only have AM/PM dials (as if you need a separate indicator to tell you whether it's day or night.) And finding genuine moon phase dials for a reasonable price just isn't easy anymore. Well, this one has a true moon phase dial, and for what you get in terms of overall watch quality the price is definitely right.But that was just for starters. I love everything about this watch. First, the features -- the aforementioned moon phase dial as well as very handy, readable dials for weekday and date. It also has another feature I like very much -- a hand indicating what week of the year it is (this hand runs counterclockwise and is pegged to hit week #52 when it reaches the top of the dial). The main numbers on the face are also accompanied by smaller numbers and hashmarks indicating numbers of minutes and seconds.It's also simply beautiful. I can't stop looking at it. The trim is gold and contrasts nicely with a bright sunshiny watch face. The hands stand out and are easy to read. The face is a pleasing size (40 mm), large enough for everything to be clear, but it doesn't feel too thick or bulky. All over the watch the numbers (even the small ones) are quite easy to read. Something about looking at it makes me feel like my close-in eyesight has improved. The zeppelin logo is tasteful, small and adds positively to the appearance.I was advised that with all the features, setting the watch might be complex. I didn't find that to be the case at all. It was much easier to set than my previous watch or the other ones we tried. The main button is used to move the hands and, along with them, the moon phase. The one atop it sets the week. The one below sets the date, simple as can be. The makers' directions are quite clear - and I'm the sort who would have a lot of trouble if they weren't.I never knew I could enjoy a watch so much but then I probably never had as well-designed a watch before. So glad that we toughed it out and found the perfect one.

This is a very nice watch, not just a very nice watch for the price. It has a very high construction quality and really looks like a way more expensive watch.

As most have said this watch is beautiful but it is a pain to set. Just one crown to set the moonphase, date, and day means alot of twisting! I also cannot figure out how to sync up the day/date to a 24 hr clock. Both are off by 12 hours and no matter what i do i cant get them to both change at the same time. I have looked for help everywhere but cant seem to find it. Did anyone else have this problem?

You can tell this is a Dress Watch Not a Work Watch.It is just as showy as it appears in photos so yes the crystal is exposed to scrapes & scratches. Long sleeves are probably the only protection you could expect. I had no problem setting it . I suppose the band that came with was fine but I replaced it with crocodile.See photo

I've been wanting to add a moonphase watch to my collection for a while now and I'm happy I decided on this one. I love the week hand feature on it and that it keeps track of that in addition to the moon phase. As pretty as everything is on this watch with the moon dial and the colors, the most striking thing to me is the choice of font they used on it. It's very much aviation inspired and is a great compliment to the gold case and Zeppelin logo. I actually think this watch looks significantly nicer and more elegant than the similar Frederique Constant moonphase watches that are over twice the price.Also, for as many complications this watch has (3 standard hands/week hand/moon phase/day/date), it was surprisingly easy to set, although a little tedious. When setting a watch though, I will always take tediousness over complexity. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this watch.

Watch is beautiful and great moon phase for the price. Unfortunately my weekly hand broke from pressing the button. Never dropped or anything with the watch actually babied it but broke at 32 days so can’t even get a refund.

Beautiful timepiece. Highly recommended. Gorgeous moon-phase and sunburst dial. The dial may look abit busy however you quickly get used to it. A truly exceptional piece of engineering

Great looking watch with functions not usually found in this price range. Setup is a bit complicated but there is a good Utube video that should help (Long Island Watch). Very happy with this purchase.

The watch arrived on time. Looked more beautiful than I expected. It's also very masculine, which is an added bonus for me!Just to state, I read previous reviews about difficulties in setting. But this watch camed time-set to UK time zone. So this is not a problem now. Just buy and use.I would recommend this watch.

J’ai reçu cette montre très rapidement après la commande(2jours).Elle est très fine et raffinée et comme elle propose plusieurs cadrans prévoyez quelques minutes pour les réglages.Reste à voir dans la durée je ne connais que peu la marque Zeppelin très prometteuse.

Graf Zeppelin is a beautiful watch. It’s a great value for money. I was also impressed by the promptness of sellers response. As I was travelling I requested early delivery I’d watch. The courier delivered it before I was expecting it. It’s indeed a five star buying experience.

Eine sehr schöne Uhr, die über Wochentags-, Datums-, Mondphasen- und Kalenderwochenanzeige verfügt. Lieferung erfolgte schnell und zuverlässig, die Uhrzei war sogar schon korrekt eingestellt, einzig Datum und Mondphase mussten korrigiert werden. Mit beiliegender Anleitung einfach zu erledigen. - Ich bin immer noch begeistert von dieser Uhr, wurde schon mehrfach von Kollegen bzw. Freunden deswegen angesprochen... Einzige ästhetische Änderung: ich habe das schwarze Armband (Leder) durch ein rot-braunes Lederarmband ersetzen lassen, da es meiner Meinung nach besser mit dem vergoldeten Gehäuse harmoniert und sportlicher aussieht. Ich kann diese Uhr nur empfehlen.

I definitely recommend this watch - it’s worth the price. I think It has wonderful design and high quality.
