Decent Training ball
I picked this up as a fun way to mix up my workouts, and I’ve got to say—it’s a lot harder than it looks! I initially thought I’d be an instant pro, but I ended up getting whacked in the face more times than I’d care to admit. It’s a bit humbling at first, but after a few sessions, I started to get the hang of it. I’ve been using it to improve my coordination and reaction times, especially after realising how rubbish I was at keeping my focus during sparring practice. The black ball is definitely better to start with because it’s slower and doesn’t bounce about as wildly as the red one. Speaking of which, once you build some confidence, the red ball gives you a proper workout—my arms were aching after 10 minutes. It’s also pretty convenient to chuck into a gym bag or use in the garden when the weather’s decent. My teenage nephew had a go as well, and now he’s asking for one for his birthday. The only thing I’d say is that the headband could be a little sturdier, as it sometimes loosens up mid-session, but it’s not a dealbreaker. For under a tenner, it’s a cracking bit of kit.

Be prepared to get smacked in the face by your own hubris. But with enough practice you can get a decent workout and it's quite fun. Highly recommend it for hyper kids.

Good work out. Takes a minute to get good at. Be careful not to hit yourself in the head. Find a groove. Great gift for everyone

Good quality, better than I thought. I didn't know if I would enjoy it at all or how difficult it might be to try to hit it consecutively. It is not as difficult as I thought and it is fun to try. My coworkers laughed at me when they first saw it, What is that?" It bouces back a little bit wierd sometimes (springs up and down and the string twists a bit) - if you hit it just right, it goes much better (and also if you do not hit it on the upper part close to where the string is attached it is better). I saw a video that teaches you to start out just hitting it low first with your dominant hand until you get the hang of it then try both hands, then try moving your feet more with it. That was helpful. Overall it is better than I thought it would be and I am not very coordinated with things like this (and middle aged). My cats liked to watch me try it.
