How sturdy? What's the thickness of the steel? Can it be used to make smashed burgers? Is it a smasher spatula?

They are VERY sturdy. So sturdy in fact that I was careless with it (since I was used to flimsy spatulas) and it made a small nick a in my cast iron pan's seasoning (which was quickly repaired, of course). It feels heavy and comfortable in the hand, and it works beautifully to make smash burgers (in fact, I bought precisely for that purpose). So, all in all, 100% recommended, and it works perfect as a smasher spatula.

How long is the flat portion?

The flat portion of the spatula is 5-1/8 inches wide by 5-7/8 inches long. It is a well-made spatula.

What are the dimensions of the blades? 5x5 inches?

The flat portion of the spatula is 5-1/8 inches wide by 5-7/8 inches long. It is a well-made spatula.

Are these spatulas manufactured in china? assembly in usa does not count, fyi.

Idk but sure does the job well. Research the company or don't buy if in doubt.
