It’s starting to get very hot and i have a huge tank for my Leo (about 75 gallons) & in my experience I would have a hard time keeping his humid side humid during the hot temps. I’ve used eco earth on its own as substrate which is just okay on its own at breaking down waste and providing a nice digging surface for my Leo. However it’s definitely prone to dust and holds moisture very poorly. This flukers substrate exceeded my expectations! As a mix in, it has managed the dust levels to almost nonexistent and holds moisture very very well. At first I was nervous since these are wood chips but they’re actually pretty soft wood and would aid wonderfully in getting stuck shed off toes! As I mentioned before, this is a great MIX IN with loose substrate! Do not use this on its own!
