This stuff works on Aphids
Directions are good. Itโs pretty easy to get the mixed it was needed. I then drenched the plants as directed. All the aphids are now gone and there was thousands. So it works.

Very effective tree & shrub drench
This Fertilome Tree & Shrub drench works very well to protect my boxwoods from psyllid insects. I mix & pour around the shrubs in the spring as directed. Before using this on the boxwoods the psyllids would attack the shrubs in spring & do a lot of damage.

Worked after 1 month for mealybugs (as far as I can tell)
The timeframe on the bottle for it to work is 1 week - 3 months, and for me it took about a month to see any results. I applied in early May and have just begun to see the population of mealybugs on my crepe myrtle tree thin. Itโs a very big tree (about 2 stories) so I used the whole bottle, diluting as directed. The mealybugs infestation was very severe, with literally thousands of bugs coating the tree and roots. The reason I say โas far as I knowโ is that I was taking other measures to the surface of the tree while waiting for the Fertilome to take effect. I would hose the bugs out of the tree each day, and in the last week of May and first of June I would use generic dish soap (after hosing the bugs down onto the ground, Iโd coat the soil on top of/around them as well as the trunk and any branches I could reach with store bought dish soap - like generic Dawn). I would spray a little water after to make a lather, and could see this helping to cull the population somewhat. There were still just so many hatching anew each day, but this past week (first week of June) Iโve finally noticed the bugs meaningfully decrease. There are maybe 20-30 insects visible these days with fewer each day, and I havenโt needed to soap and rinse. Iโd recommend a combination of this product with the hose and dish soap strategy, and patience as this did take a month to show results on a large tree. ๐

Have been using this for years on Cana Lillies
The issue on my Cana Lillies is the leaf roller bugs do a number on them every spring. And the solution is to treat the plants as they have just started growing but before the bugs have a chance to establish themselves. I've used this product for a few years and been pretty happy with the performance, adding about 16 oz. to a 2-gallon pail and then literally drenching the soil and inside the plants once they get about 12" in height. The mixture can be poured from a watering can (my preferred method) or with a pressure sprayer (which just takes a long time to really get the volume needed into the soil). I don't know of an alternative to this product and this large jug from Amazon is a good value compared to the little bottles I've been using from my local garden supply shop. In past summers, it has given good protection for a month or so before the leaf rollers show up again, but less aggressively. I treated a little heavier and earlier this year, so time will tell; I may also do a mid-summer drench for good measure.

This stuff REALLY works!!!
Absolutely amazing! Iโve had a soft scale infestation on my hydrangeas for 2 years now and have tried absolutely everything to get rid of them. This has literally been the best purchase Iโve ever made, as 3-4 weeks in, my hydrangeas are incredibly almost 100% free of these awful pests! Will definitely be buying this again!
