where are these made?

These cutting boards are made in China. And far as I can learn Acacia Trees are NOT indigenous to China. Most likely China gets its Acacia wood from Australia or other Pacific Islands. But it say right there on the box "Made in China".

Can you put this in the oven? Bake on it?

No, this is not intended for Baking/Grilling.Its made of Acacia wood , and meant for use as a cutting board. After repeated use/washing I recommend applying food-grade mineral oil to replenish the deep rich color of the wood. The oil also prevents cracking, separating or breaking of the wood at its laminated joints.

If by stenciled, you mean carved… I would think so.

Is this board unfinished or it is top coated with butcher block oil etc.? I wanted to do some wood burning on the board and it has to be unfinished.

I answered previously that I did not know the answer but I took it out and asked my husband and he said it is finished. He can't say with what but he would not be doing any wood burning on it. Hope this helps.
