Wrangler Men's 13MWZ Cowboy Cut Original Fit Jeans

Used to wear 13MWZs exclusively when I owned a ranch. This is the first pair I have bought in the last 20 years or so. What I like is that there has been no change in the color, comfort, style, denim weight or fit and finish of these jeans. Quality of fabrication (Mexico) is good. What I don't like is the denim seems to be woven less tight than it used to be. Will the denim be as durable as in the past? 13MWZ jeans used to be super-tough and took any chore you could throw at them from livestock handling to fencing. We'll see if my perception about the weave is correct but for now 4-stars. Update 08Mar24: I went online to check if the weave of this product has changed. I read that Wrangler updated the weave of the rigid cotton fabric to allow movement of the fabric strands during flexing and washing. Allegedly, the service life of the 20x and 13MWG may be extended by up to 2-years. As per other reviews, yes the old rigid fabric has been replaced . Whoa is me, I prefer the true rigid fabric. The jeans lasted long enough and did not sag and bag during wearing like the new version. I detest comfort jeans with flex or synthetic add-ins to get products soft and stretchy out of the box...this is for pussy cats. I will maintain 4-stars as the jeans function as advertised. Please Wrangler, build the 13MWZ as before. If it ain't broke...don't fix it. Oh, for you guys whining about color fade, always wash your jeans inside out. The color will hold longer. Wash cold, hang to dry. 05Apr24. These jeans are so good for motorcycle riding I bought a second pair. After several washings, no shrinkage, no unraveling and no fit/shape change. From 4-stars to 5-stars. 14Aug24. Bought a pair of Shadow Black jeans to wear to forgo the blues for more "lofty" social activities. These jeans are high quality and a good heavyweight denim. Pair that with the unbeatable price and I can confidently say I will be buying more of these jeans. They fit great standalone with tennis shoes, with boots or rolled up to the ankle. The color is really great as well. Definitely love the light wash

Every pair of jeans should be woven this way - instead of a twill weave, these jeans use some special weave that makes them very flexible and way more comfortable off the bat that normal denim while being 100% cotton - and the standard $30 pairs are raw denim, if you're into that.Order your normal size, because they seem to accomodate for the shrink-to-fit for you. Follow the instructions and triple-hot-wash and dry on high 3 times. They'll fit like a glove. Rise is perfect, you never show your unmentionables bending over, and the pockets are positioned so you don't sit on stuff in your back pocket. By far the most well designed jeans I have ever experienced.Better than 501's, and a third of the price. The standard pair of these jeans is a medium blue post-wash. Very blue, very cool.

I'm struggled for years now trying to finding quality 100% cotton denim jeans, with a cut that fits my legs, and are relatively affordable. I always wrote wranglers off because I never thought I could get over the cowboy or boot cut. These are a great pair of Jeans.I wear a 34x32 and out of the package they felt massive. Super loose and long. At first, I thought they were another loss. I've always tried to wash my jeans sparingly, and when I do, in cold water before hanging them to air dry. But with these, I got the idea to intentionally shrink them. So I did. I threw them in with my washer on the hottest setting, and then in the dryer on the hottest setting. They came together almost perfect. They fit phenomenally well and love the heavy duty feel of the denim and rivets. 10x the quality of Levis (but still cheaper!) since they've started adding all that stretch material to their products.My only slight complaint is sometimes the lower leg is just loose enough (because of the boot cut) that it gets caught on my chain ring when I'm biking to work. Aside from that, these are perfect.

I ordered the 13MWZ rigid in 34x34. I actually received the prewashed 13MWZ in a 33x34. I was worried they’d be too tight, but I guess because they’re prewashed, they fit just fine. And, because they’re almost $10 more than what I actually ordered, I decided to keep them. I’ve been wearing Levi’s for years now, but they’ve gotten really expensive. I tried Wranglers on a whim because of the price, and I actually like them better. The denim is much sturdier, and the fit is much more comfortable (they sit at the waist instead of being low rise). For half the price of Levi’s, I’ll stick with Wrangler.

Fit, style, comfort.

Jeans arrived on time but at first wearing them, after putting them through a wash they were rough and there was a crease on both legs that was not on the seam. Washed them a 2nd time crease was still there and the a bit softer but still rough. Used a steam iron on them and after trying to remove the crease was finally successful but the die color still showed where the crease had been.

I have Levi's and other retail jeans but these provide better fit, comfort and good quality! All that for the price makes me a very happy customer. I bought the dark chocolate colour a few weeks back and they've faded in nicely. I wanted to lighten them so I used the dryer and also softened them with some vinegar. Blue pair is the latest addition but ill let those fade in over time! I'm no cowboy, I live in the city, but as a tall guy that likes boots and is pretty rough on pants, these are crazy versatile! Just be sure to size down 1 on the waist as others have mentioned 👍

Excelente calidad y fit, OJO, si usas generalmente tallas impares (29, 31, 33) sube una talla, ya que puede llegar a sentirse muy ajustado, yo soy talla 31 de levi's y 32 en wrangler (cowboy cut)

We got these jeans for my son as a Christmas gift and at first we were skeptical that they were knock-offs or a second run product. However when we compared them to an identical pair from a local western wear store there was no difference except the price about $30 cheaper and the store was sold out in the size we needed.
