I’ve been getting into a chess kick lately and wanted something portable to bring somewhere. I decided to grab this set and bring it into work. Is it the best quality ever? No, but it gets the job done and you wouldn’t care at all. It’s surprising the amount of coworkers I have that actually played chess. It’s fun to just take a break from work to play. We even set up a leaderboard in the break room. Everything fits nicely in the case and packaged separately by ziplocks. I don’t use the checkers but it’s there. Overall, it’s a great value.

This is a great product. Holds up well for camping. Has a storage bag. Which is not a tight fit at all. Board lays flat. Just as pictured.

Wonderful the piece are big enough my kids can handle them with out trouble and if the get dropped easy to find love the bag we take it with us on car rides and appointments and the kids play in the floor of our van while Sittin in the parking lot and they love it

Black and white pieces extra kings. Slightly weighted pieces. Same for checkers pieces. Thick and slightly weighted playing mat. Burrito style green bag for travel. Simple as advertised 10/10

The board is a perfectly fine mousepad board, and the bag is sturdily built and roomy enough to add in a clock. The large staunton-style pieces are unweighted plastic, but they don't feel cheap, just basic. Extra queens and a bonus set of checkers are unexpected for the price.

Better than expected... Heavy "mouse pad" style board... Nice bag and pieces. Seem heavy enough to be portable.

This set is so well made my grandson will be able to take it to his friends or grandmas to play with. He is really going to love this set.
