NICETOWN Black Blackout Curtains for Bedroom 42" Wide x 63" Long 2 Panels

I bought these curtains to block the light coming through my bedroom's large window. I was truly impressed by their excellent quality and affordable price. The fabric feels sturdy and thick, yet soft to the touch and has an elegant look. The black color looks great on the window and effectively blocks out external light. Additionally, it helps keep the room cooler and offers good privacy. The two panels are the right size; they fit perfectly and provide good coverage for the window in terms of both length and width. They remain in perfect condition after washing. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I love them! They are beautifully made, nice, heavy weight, and the fabric has a lovely feel. They also look great, and do a fantastic job of blocking outside light. I plan on buying more for all of my windows.

I really like having privacy in my home, and these blackout curtains were exactly what I was looking for. The material feels strong, thick, and durable, and they do a great job of blocking the light and giving me more privacy. They also look nice in the room and feel like good quality. I ordered these for next-day shipping on 3 separate occasions, all 3 times the delivery took longer than expected. The first two times I opted to cancel my order as "repurchasing" assured a "next-day delivery" while waiting for the order was expected to be several additional days. After the 3rd time I just gave up and waited. I'm not sure what it is about this product specifically and the shipping logistics (as other items in the order had no trouble arriving on time) but other than that they worked as expected. They are easy to install, the grommets feel secure and the fabric feels thick and good quality. We used tension rods inside of the window frame itself so they took less than 2 minutes to install. When pulled all the way shut, the fabric does a decent job of blocking out the light however the grommets do let sunshine in. If you're looking for 95-100% blackout I would advise you choose a different style. I like that they are the same color on both sides as several brands of blackout curtains feature a plastic liner on the reverse side which can look unsightly from the outside of the home.

These curtains work really well and do a great job blocking out the light. They look nice and are a great value for the price. Very happy with them!

I have a window in my bathroom that faces west, and in the Florida summer, we could not use the room because it was SO hot. I put this curtain in and it works perfectly! It blacks out most of the light, to the point the room is about a nightlights brightness in the middle of the day. The main thing I’m grateful for though is the heat reflected out! The bathroom got so hot that it would heat plastic up to the point of crumpling and it even would ruin my makeup. I put these curtains up at peak summer heat late August to early September in Florida and I have been nothing but happy with them.

These curtains are much nicer than I expected for the price. The fabric feels thick and substantial, and the black color looks clean and modern. The metal grommets are sturdy and make the curtains very easy to hang and slide on the rod. They also have a nice weight and drape well without looking cheap or flimsy. Great value for the price, especially for a living room or bedroom. Very happy with this purchase!

I love these curtains. They're so soft and thick - the quality is evident. I have several photos here. My apartment faces east, so I get the sunrise, and super bright mornings until the sun is high enough in the sky that it's not coming straight into my apartment. So the first photo is of just my regular curtains closed, around 8am. These are not "sheer" curtains. They're actually solid dark green/blue with a white coated back. When the sun hits, they are practically see-through. When I got these new curtains, I got double rods too, SO - second pic is left side Nicetown curtains closed OVER the regular curtains, and right side ONLY the Nicetown curtains closed. Next pic, I turned off the light so you can see better. So light is still coming through, with just the Nicetown curtains alone. But compared to the first pic, it is just about night and day. Next pic is both sides, both curtains closed. Total blackout, except the light coming from above and below. I did similar comparisons around 10am. The light comes through the Nicetown ones a little more at that hour when the daylight is less glowy and a little more bright white. Lastly, from the kitchen I took a shot where you can see one room with the curtains wide open and also the living room with the curtains closed. I think it looks darker in this one because of how bright the other side of the photo is. It's not actually pitch black in the other room (it's an open room and there's a light on) - but the difference is still huge. SO! I will keep using my regular curtains when I just need to keep the sun from glaring in my eyes or off the screen. But if I want to have a horror movie marathon that begins at sunrise, now I can :) I would recommend the double rods and a cheap set of regular curtains to go behind them if you want the light to be fully blacked out. And the higher and longer you have the curtains, the less the light will come in from the top and bottom. Edit: the photos aren’t showing in the order I had added them, so first second and so on notes in the review are moot. They’re all jumbled, but you can figure out the timeline from the photo captions.

The product is excellent. Really blocks out the light. I unfortunately ordered the wrong width and Boudica Shipment Customer Service has been very helpful in processing my refund.

Great Quality at an AMAZING price. Will definitely purchase these again in another colour when renovating the next room. Fresh Green is very true to colour on screen. Ordered Olive to go with it and returned as the colour was not even close to what is shown. But still beautiful.
