**Q: Can you use these with just the spike and not the stem.**
A: Thank you so much for your inquiry. The solar pathway lights cannot be connected to the spikes directly. Therefore, you need to use stakes to connect them.

**Q: What size battery? Can I replace it?**
A: Each light comes with an AA battery and you can replace them quite easily.

**Q: I switched the ON switch but they don’t come on at night. Plenty of sun.**
A: There is a small plastic tag that you need to remove for them to work. This maybe the problem.

**Q: For those who have had these a couple of years do they still work?**
A: I bought 6 and now only 4 is working. When the weather gets better and I have more time I shall have a play around and see if I can make the other 2 work.  I was really pleased with this buy in the first summer I had them. Although 2 were small in size, but I had very good after sales service.

I was so impressed with my first order of these 6 solar lanterns that I re-ordered another set on receipt The lanterns are well made, very bright compared to similar products on the market, easy to assemble and instal and excellent value for money They enhance our outside porch area and patio and have attracted many compliments I can fully recommend this seller and hope to buy more products from this company in the future My rating was lowered due to one lantern on my second order being faulty . It appears to have a short in transmission from the battery because it flickers for a few seconds but it does not retain the contact so it does not light up I am so pleased with the lights overall that I have decided not to return the recent delivery . I will conceal the faulty one where it is out of sight The other 11 are working perfectly. It is unfortunate but these things happen.
