Metal seems like good quality. Not hard to install, but screws seem a bit flimsy, I might replace them with stronger ones. Will see how it goes through the winter, but it has held a pretty heavy gate shut for a few months, despite some rainy, windy days.

Perfect for the bottom of our large chicken coop door. We use this on the human entrance to prevent predators from opening the bottom edge of the door. We learned we needed something to secure because a critter did get in before we had this easy to use latch.

It’s a lot smaller than I expected. Maybe I should have check the size. Well, I pushed my husband (playfully) against the gate this latch was on and it broke. The part where the moving arm is welded on popped off. My husband just used a screw to replace it and screwed it directly to the wood. It now spins around the screw and is much sturdier. We wanted it to keep our dogs in. Good thing the dogs didn’t break it first.

Easy to install. Works great keeping the doors to the shed closed. Looks great. Should have bought one years ago.

Purchased this for our Shed and it is perfectly suited. The metal is heavy duty and installs easily. All hardware included. Screws are long enough no problem.

This is a very cheap aluminum. The middle point piece that keeps the rod latch held on to the base broke off. The entire latch fell apart. It’s like a little bead that you would use on a cheap toy. It reminds me of the buttons that you would use to bedazzle a shirt in the 90s! It’s not even appropriate to use that for a mini garden fence system nonetheless a heavy duty gate latch.

Looks rustic and was exactly what we were looking for. We are using it on a laundry room door has that antique look. Heavy duty and great quality latch.
