I have used WaterHog mats at entry ways for years. They are easy to clean and absorb whatever is tracked in. My house cats also use them as scratching pads. Nothing appears to damage these mats. They are also heavy enough to stay put.

I bought one of these to put our pet food on, to keep water splashes from making the kitchen floor a slip hazard. We liked it so much that I've since bought them to use for our bath mats, and one to use as a temporary threshold in a room where the carpet tacks are starting to poke through but we're not ready to replace the flooring just yet. They are non-slip, they hold a bunch of water without letting it soak through (due to the rubber backing), and the vacuum like a breeze -- they're heavy enough that they don't get sucked up into the roller, but they just stay on the floor! When they get dirty enough that just vacuuming and toweling up doesn't get them clean (usually only the cat food one), I just take it outside, throw it over the porch railing, and hose it down. Looks brand new. We've had a couple of ours for close to four years, and they still look brand new. They aren't cheap, but an absolute great value if you cost it out over time. Also, the cats try to sharpen their claws on them, but they don't tear up!

Best mat of all time for in front of the shower. Dripping wet? No problem. Designed to hold gallons of water. Very soft on the feet & a beautiful color. Made in the USA. Could not go wrong. Not for long term standing so not for in front of a sink. You will have waffle feet. For entrance, in front of fish tanks and shower. This is how I use them. I constantly bringing in leaves and grass into my home in the fall when walking to dog in the yard, so I needed something to wipe my feet on before coming in. I have this on the desk to my glass sliding doors. Nice low profile, so no tripping, and it does a good job getting everything off my feet. Not perfect, but good enough. A little more fingerlike would have worked better in my case and my sneaker have lots of grooves so it misses some of the grass caught in there. Works good at getting snow off too and the sun dries it pretty quickly.

I use this product as a mat before entering the house from the pool. It absorbs water very well. I do clean the bottom q so often and let it hang out to drip dry. I love the color. I think it will be around a long time, very sturdy and durable.

This is the second time I have purchased these doormats. I still have the original ones at my doors. This time I bought a beautiful blue one to place over an area on our living room rug that our cat is using as a scratching post! It works great! It's saving our carpet--just wish I had thought of it a long time ago!

REALLY Nice entry mat. We use it for coming into our house from the pool. Significantly cuts down on the amount of dirt in the house! A little pricy for what you THINK you're getting; but the value is there. I would get another one if my wife wanted to put another one somewhere. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

I've only had this rug for a few weeks, but so far I'm pleased with it. It's nothing fancy, but it serves it's purpose and I do like the shade of blue. It traps all sorts of grass and leaves that would otherwise be tracked throughout the house by my dogs and humans. Every few days I vacuum it off and it's good as new. Best of all, while living in a very rainy state, it protects my wood floors from moisture.
