Do they still use a wound string for low G?

I don’t think this set has a wound G. I prefer sound G and C and buy sets that include them, or individual strings. Does this set of strings include a wound string for low G or is it just thicker?

No it is not wound... at least in the sets I received. It is the Red string that is the regular diameter (in other words not thicker) but made of different material. Very stretchy. Hope that helps.....Mike
