Works good. If you have a trunk mount base, and switch to a mag mount, this works.
I had a trunk lip W1000 on my old car, but when I moved I changed to a mag-mount on my metal file cabinet. This mag-mount fit my need perfectly, antenna and base load screws off the trunk-mount and then onto the mag-mount, with almost zero change in SWR. Execellent.

Bought this to replace my Wilson 1000 base this new base has a really good magnet compared to some of the other replacements.

Worked perfect
I had to replace the original mount for my Wilson 1000 because of coax damage. I got this and installed it, put the analyzer on it and did not even have to re tune the whip for the frequency I use [it was still resonating on it]. Maybe I just lucky who knows. Anyhow 73's

Terrible quality
I bought one of these but sent it right back. it is not even close to the original. The bottom is thin and peeling off and it was ripped in the center. I still have my original 31 years old and it is better than what I received from Amazon. I don't know if this is a Chinese knock off or if it is a real Wilson product. If it is a Wilson Product, they sure went downhill. Very poor Quality.

Perfect fit
Made specifically for Wilson 1000. I had previously drilled hole through trunk to mount the antenna and after years chose switching over to the magnetic mount. These are becoming somewhat harder to find now. Get one while you can, May be ''last of the Mohicans''
