Nowadays, almost all things geared towards liver support contain thistle. For those of us who do not react well to thistle, this formula is terrific. I can support my liver without a histamine response from an unwanted herbal ingredient, yay! Really hoped this supplement would work, but instead it left me feeling weird. I felt agitated, dehydrated, sweated more than usual, bloated, constipated. Just my symptoms from taking for a few weeks.....really wish it worked and wish you better results than me.

I have been using this product since about 1999, when it was called "Liver-Rite" and made claims it would help you avoid hang over symptoms, etc. Those claims and the name have been changed due to pressure from the FDA probably- but the product is still something I like to use when I am traveling and when I expect to drink more heavily than usual. It does make a difference and I prefer this version over the newer + Milk Thistle version that is a clear gelatin capsule.

I've always loved the original formula. Definitely feel the difference when I take it. If I'm not feeling tip top it makes me feel better and if I'm feeling well it makes me feel stronger. I love the fact you can take it on empty stomach. For whatever reason my body responds well to the ingredients.
