Update: It's been almost a year since my purchase. It still remains as firm and comfortable as the first day. It continues to profile quality sleep with no aches or pains waking up. I don't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a good memory foam mattress.I purchased this during Amazon Prime Day and have had about six weeks of sleep with it. It is my first memory foam mattress and I paired it with the Zinus 18" frame. The mattress shipped free with prime in two days. The frame also shipped free with prime but required additional days for delivery. (It was less than a week.) Like all my Amazon orders, I had it delivered to work. I have a small car (Chevy Spark) and had brought rope to work the day it was delivered hoping I could get it in my car's hatch enough that I could tie it down and get it home. If that was impossible, I would ask for someone with a truck to bring it home for me. In the end, I did neither. The mattress is so compressed for shipping that I was able to slide it in the back and completely close the hatch. Once home, I did use a small folding hand truck to bring it in the house and upstairs to a bedroom without too much fuss. Two people could also have easily carried it. Did I mention this was the KING sized version? :)It stated to not use it directly on the floor but I was anxious to try it out and since it would just be for three days until the proper frame arrived, I went ahead and opened it up. I really cannot judge it against other memory foam mattresses since this is my first but I can say there was no smell and it was firm but not hard. I am unsure how to describe how it feels but I sleep as good as I do in a quality regular bed. More importantly I have had no aches or pains after waking up.It did pair nicely with the frame when it arrived a few days later. (I am 5' 10" and 230 for reference.)I did experience the threads being lose on some quilting on the top as described by another review with photos. I have that covered with the bedding and it really seems to make do difference to the sleep experience so I didn't feel it was work deducting a full star. I might have taken off a half star if that were possible.I don't know how it will last long term but at the cost, if I get just 5 years with it, it is a bargain.

Coming from a hand-me-down Sleep Number mattress, this was wonderful. I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive buying a mattress that I hadn't tried in a store, but none of the store mattresses were in my budget, even with sales. This one came in a compressed package that I was able to drag myself into the bedroom (I recommend having help to do all of this - I'm kind of a big guy and could manhandle it pretty well). I opened it up and managed to drag it on to the bedframe (again, have a friend help you). I cut open the vacuum sealed package and watched it expand. The instructions say to give it about 48 hours to completely expand, but I was able to sleep on this after about 10 hours. It was fantastic. Like sleeping on a cloud. I did purchase a waterproof mattress cover and some really good 1000 threadcount sheets that also helped. My wife says it's one of the best mattresses she's ever slept on. I do find that after a night's sleep, I have sunk into the mattress, but it's not uncomfortable at all. I feel like I'm being cradled and it isn't difficult to get out of like some memory foam mattresses I've tried. I don't seem to toss and turn as much, and I feel well rested in the morning. In fact, I really don't want to get out of this thing.Update, one year later: I'm experiencing what other people are saying about this mattress: The support is pretty much worn out, waking up with aches and pains, hump forming in the middle, etc. I've tried flipping the mattress, but that doesn't help. It's already worn out. I'll be making a trip to a mattress store today. I can't take the back pain anymore.

This mattress is truly worth the buy. I needed a new mattress because every time me or my husband would move at night we would wake up the other because the whole bed would rock plus the mattress was starting to have indentations where we lay. I did my research and chose the king size Sleep Innovations Shiloh. Even though I read almost every customer review I still didn't know how the mattress would feel. My old mattress had springs and we've never owned a memory foam mattress before.When the new mattress arrived I had my Cosco Multi Hand Truck/Dolly ready. I am so glad that I bought this hand truck because the mattress weighs 100 lbs. Having this made moving this mattress so darn easy. I had to take this mattress up 14 steps and I did that with ease. When I rolled the mattress onto the bed, I cut the plastic wrap that was holding it into the round position. I then cut the remaining plastic wrap off and the mattress instantly started to take its form. It looks great right away. I waited 24 hours before sleeping on it. There were ZERO odors from this mattress. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and there were none. A few of the top quilting threads were loose but that is really cosmetic and I have a mattress cover over the whole mattress anyway.Me and my husband both love sleeping on this mattress. When I read that this mattress has a medium/firm feel but is yet soft, I was really confused about how it would feel. Now I am here to tell you that it really is a medium/firm yet so comfortable. There aren't any disturbances to the other side of the bed when we flip over at night or get up out of bed. We both sleep so much better with neither of us waking the other one up. Some concerns are also about over heating, which neither myself nor my husband feel this at all with this mattress. It feels the same temperature as my spring mattress had. This mattress has 2.5" of SureTemp memory foam. It really does seem to work. We've been using this mattress for a few weeks now and every night we still lay in bed and say "I love this bed".Both my husband and myself both wake up feeling refreshed and energized. This mattress absorbs our body weight evenly and also keeps our spines in the proper alignment so we wake without any kinks or sore spots. This is also a very quiet mattress which is something a really love. I do not have any regrets about buying this mattress and I am so glad that I did.
