I am hard of hearing and can't hear my iPhone ring when I take my hearing aids out. I rarely need something that I can rely on to wake me up if someone calls but I had a need, needed it quick, found this on Amazon and pulled the trigger. I actually had one of these from about 5 years ago. I found it and plugged it in, charged it up but it is dead. I considered another brand because of this but Li ion batteries don't last forever, especially if they're used. The iLuv is less expensive than the other brand I found so I decided to give them another chance. As someone else wrote in another review, this company seems to have been continually improving this product. It shows. The shaker comes neatly packed in a box with nice, easy to read instructions. All I had to do is charge it a bit, turn on my iPhone and it paired with the app and bluetooth seamlessly. From there it is as easy as opening the app and either scheduling an alarm or just letting it do it's magic. This thing actually and incredibly works for everything I need, which is, in order of importance, phone calls, Teams calls (most people these days work for companies where coworkers insist on calling you via Teams and not just your mobile number), and text. With the adjustable vibration setting I turned it all the way up and I am confident I won't miss someone trying to reach me. It is hard to overstate what a huge thing it is to trust a little device like this. The last time I needed this I stayed up all night waiting for a call that never came (that's the deal for me unfortunately, I won't know if I'm needed unless / until someone calls me). I am getting too old to do that and a sleepless night makes me a very unhappy camper. My night still won't be fun but the rest I can get placing my trust is some of the best money I've ever spent. If you are in a similar situation and either a heavy sleeper, deaf / hard of hearing or just want something to give you a jolt if someone is trying to reach you this thing does the job. A+ from me.

I'm deaf, so needless to say, this is a lifesaver. I bought one back in 2019, and it JUST went out a few days ago. So its well worth the money. Also, I reordered one, and it was delivered the next day. Turns out it was defective (wouldn't light up or turn on in any way) so I was issued a replacement, and it came two days later. Great company to get these things done so quick! The replacement works perfectly! Absolutely no complaints. It has all sorts of features and alerts, but I solely use it as my alarm. Highly recommend. Oh, and my fiancé loves it too because it doesn't bother him or wake him up. :P

I did not have any problems with the shaker. It worked great. The app on the other hand had some problems. I could not connect to the shaker through the app. My bluetooth says it is paired, but it does not work. I have to unpair it and the repair it for it to work.

This is much improved from the first one i bought several years ago. The APP is slow to respond but works. Easy to set alarms, also with messaging apps and phone calls it works well. I keep it under the mattress as the vibration is strong. Battery life i got 30 days with the first charge, mainly just alarms not too many messages or calls. Once i remove my hearing aids i only have 10% hearing.

This product worked well for my Dad who is 86 now. He is not deaf but he uses it to help him wake up in the morning since he can't put his phone right by his bed and would miss the alarm, so he puts this device under his pillow and it works great. He also uses it to remind him to turn on his phone after church, sets the alarm before he turns off and when it goes off lets him know at home to check his phone to turn back on. Will see what other uses he can use it for. We think the app is easy to use and like the multiple alarms and different times you could put for snoozing. Nice to have options for vibration strength. We think the sizing is good, not too small to easily misplace and not larger than your hand. So, I think would also be easy to travel with if needed. Also seems sturdy construction. For what my dad uses if for seems the said battery life is good. This device works well for us.

At first this thing was excellent! Does everything it's supposed to. I cook for a living, occasionally I have to get up way to early after a closing shift and the annoying feeling of my mattress vibrating very much helps. However, it doesn't work anymore. I set an alarm, test it, it vibrates for the test. But then come morning, doesn't work! Incredibly annoying. I've un/re installed the app, restarted my phone, it is charged... I get notifications that it's working. So it is still communicating with my phone. So odd. And frustrating.

To call this an upgrade of the previous SmartShaker would be a major understatement!! I have been using SmartShaker Devices as my alarm clock for at least 6 years now possibly even longer & in that time frame I’ve been through at least 5 SmartShakers & although they’ve always been the best option available on the market, in terms of vibrating alarm clocks, there was always room for improvement...until now!!! I was starting to get worried that the device was being discontinued, due to the limited availability of the previous version but now I know why iLuv was MIA for a bit..they were developing the best version of the SmartShaker that has ever existed!! If you are in need of an alarm clock that is just as capable of waking you up as the obnoxious traditional alarm clocks but without blaring noise, then this is definitely it!!! Reliable, convenient, reasonably priced & fully capable of waking even the deepest sleeper!! Most importantly I’m so glad iLuv did not give up on one of the products they’ve ever created!!

I bought this product about 8 1/2 months ago and LOVED IT. I was really struggling to get up in the morning to my other alarms and MAN did this thing make a difference . I was NEVER late and never slept through it (minus the times I snoozed it)! I woke up this morning and it worked perfectly but tonight when I went to set my alarm, it says it wasnt connected. When I pulled it out to look at it, it was off and would not charge or turn on. Im completely devastated because it has been the only thing to get me up in the morning. I would give this product 5 stars across the board, and am assuming that maybe its just mine, if it had not completely died only 3ish months after purchasing it. I 100% recommend buying this for yourself or any heavy sleeping person that you have in your life because it will definitely be worth the cost.

Fabulous product was a great help for my son who uses cochlear implants for hearing.. since it has been received he has started getting up by himself… a fabulous product for parents whose children are hard of hearing

Doveva arrivare il 14 di novembre e invece mi è arrivato il 3 di novembre, soddisfatto per la consegna. Sono un ragazzo giovane sordo dalla nascita e devo dire che questa sveglia è ottima, facile da usare, ci sono 5 livelli per la vibrazione già il 1/2 livello non è ne basso è ne alto.

Très bon produit. Autonomie de batterie excellente, surtout si vous l’éteignez entre les utilisations. Possibilité de configurer plusieurs alarmes à des heures différentes, sur plusieurs jours. Applications mobile facile d’usage. Réveil discret, sans déranger votre voisin de lit. Je ne peux m’en passer.

E' meno compatto del modello precedente però appare più affidabile e la vibrazione è molto più potente, confrontabile con i modelli alimentati con la presa di corrente. L'app funziona bene ed è semplice da usare
